For me it is not difficult to understand the term 'male lesbian". I could qualify myself. The term refers more to mental condition rather than physical. Male lesbian feels mentally more female than male. Although, he does not have a conflict between physical appearance and mind like trans-sexuals do. In sexual situations male lesbian is not an agressor but he likes more highly sensual mental aspect of lovemaking. Male lesbian feels comfortable wearing lingerie and dress on occasion but he lacks the guilt and drama characteristic to heterosexual transvestites. Male lesbians are usually submissives and an ideal match would be to find dominant bisexual female partner.

I don't have a problem with men or transgenders referring to themselves as lesbians as long as its not the weird "But im a lesbian on the inside" straight guy chat up line for lesbian girls.

I mean you don't see people getting up in arms when lesbians refer to themselves as girlfags or any other unusual combinations that they feel describes them, its a broad spectrum and people should be free to be allowed to describe themselves however they wish.
