Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone has some tips for attaching garter belts? I can't seem to get them on right. Thanks[sm=lol.gif]

Attach the garter snaps on the stockings FIRST. Then put the stockings on, then latch the belt in the back.

Otherwise I find it impossible.

And these days I just don't wear stockings at all.

Learn to squirm in the right ways?

Actually I usually ask Doug for help. Of course by the time he is done attacking my stockings to the belt he is full of sweat.

I like it when you have the perfect hosiery "job", then one of them snaps, usually one in the back. And you are all bend over weirdly, trying to fix the damn thing.

Metal Snaps? I onlu have the plastic or more like rubber, then fits inside the metal Key Hole part. I fave the Key Hole on the outside of the stocking, and then slide the ruber part, through a thin section of the top of the Thigh Highs. If you get it in a thick piece, it pops out sometimes, or won't even work at all. You can also do like someone else suggested, and attach the clips to the Stocking forst, before pulling them up.

Now sis someone mention FISHNETS ? My favorites.....though I prefer the Fishnet Tights.

Hello There,
My two cents would be to remind you to put your garter and hose on before your panties. This way you can take your panties down without disturbing the garter.
Maybe try a different garter belt if the little clips are difficult. I have one the little things back out of the clasps. Maybe it's the belt you're using that's the problem.

Buy a good belt with metal tabs. The ones with plastic tabs usually dont grip the stockings well, and will come undone. Also if you can find one with 6 garters, it will help, as the extra garter takes some of the stress off of the others. Stockings come in various lengths and materials, so you might try experimenting until you find the right size so the tops come to just the right spot on your thighs. As far as getting them straight, and attatching those elusive back ones, I use a full length mirror to help the process. I hope these suggestions help!!!!........I've been crossdressing since before pantyhose, so I picked up a few pointers through the years!!!!

Could you tell me where i can get the ones with metal tabs and six garters? i buy them from Victorias Secret and they are the rubber plastic ones. Thanks for all your suggestions and tips i really really appreciate them!

LOL step number one: do NOT buy them from a mainstream lingerie store that makes frilly flimsy things only meant to be worn for 10 minutes in a bedroom.

Check fetish stores, or secondhand stores or stores that sell the older versions, ebay also has a fairly good selection. I can also give you some lingerie stores that sell good quality stuff.

Or again, just do what I do and go without anything.
