Try craigslist.com
They have P/T MT's & a nice list of emplyment....well, in DC anyway, not sure about your neck of the woods.
Thats exactly what I was going to say. I advertise on craigslist for my small business. I have gotten some good employees that way.

dont you have to undergo police background checks and get local authority registration in the US to be a nanny and related jobs?

I wondered about using my prestige car (which stands idle much of the time) and offering an executive taxi service - hiring a driver in as needed, picking up business types from the airport on pre-booked appointments. And extending that to book hotels for them and so on too. Whenever I travel for business, this is always the pain in the neck aspect if those I'm visiting arent arranging it for me.

And aside from/in addition to that, maybe using it more like a conventional private hire taxi for ladies only? Shopping trips to Birmingham and all that sort of thing.

oh oh hire me!!

a few months ago, i started a part time job doing after care for plastic surgery patients. we need more licensed nurses (LVN's here in cali) and maybe even medically inclined caregivers. so if anyone here in the OC is looking to pick up some extra bucks and learn some new skills (why i did it)...let me know.

I'm loving this thread!!  I just remembered something else that I'm really good at.  I can be with dying people, doing practical stuff & emotional stuff.  I have no degree or certification for anything medical, but I love helping the dying on their way.  I've done this for friends & family members & also as a volunteer with an AIDS program in the late 80's/early 90's.

Hospice ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS needs volunteers.

And if things are good in your part of the country, let us know!

Dnomyar -> RE: Collar me employment section? (10/30/2008 7:18:26 AM)

I have a friend who redecorates local resturants like Mc Donalds Ect. My son used to work for her. My daughter does webpages and Maintains them for small companies. How about going down main streets and offering to do windows for the store fronts. I know one Domme from on here who paints house address numbers on the curbs for the city. If you have a manufactured home park near the job opportunities are endless.
