Okay, so as not to continue having other posts hijacked by Joe... I thought I would put this here...as we were having a bit of a discussion about poor Joe and how Barack Obama has caused his life to become a living hell (er.. or something like that....)

Yeah, poor Joe...

How did those rascally Republicans know that Obama was going to go walking through that particular neighborhood in time to move Joe's family in there.

And isn't it a shame that we now know far more about Joe the Plumber than we do about this shadowy Barack Obama guy... maybe if Barack would ask Barack some tough questions the press and the Unions and all those government bureaucrats would do a little digging on him, and his past.

You think?

If that is the case for you... then you have not done your homework, potential voter.  Stop reading opinion pieces on Drudge and read some actual journalism...and god for bid turn off Rush and read a book!

Oh, and welcome to the right thread!

Ok....so if (not) Joe the (not) plumber is going to have a career in music....does that mean he will have to join the musicians union? What about AASCAP? How about RIAA too? Or is he just gonna stiff them too like the (not) plumbers union???

He's already said that he is considering a run at Congress in two years. Who'da thunk it.

You really should not attack someone, make outrageous charges, for no reason other than you disagree with his politics.  Do you know anything about this man?  Do you know that he has worked for over 13 years as a plumber under the license of a Master Plumber...was in the process of buying his bosses business and working on taking his Master Plumber test...in other words, fulfilling the American Dream...However, he "dared" to embarass Obama with a "question"...and even Keith Olberman is having one of his gurly fits because Joe is apparently gonna write a book and getting an agent.  God Bless him... I hope he gets a million dollar advance.  Joe's experience gives you some idea what we are in for if you disagree publically with the Messiah from Chicago's south side.  You can have your tax documents searched, your drivers license data taken from State of Ohio data banks, and on and on.....

Big Brother is coming...and he is watching  YOU! Some joke..eh!

Thanks puella,good idea.

I have a problem with "Joe The Plunger" .I hate fakes,in my life and in general.

From what I`ve gathered,he was hired by the McCainites to play the part of Joe the plumber,ie the average Joe.

So far, there`s nothing genuine about the guy.Nothing.

He`s been on the McCain payroll from the begining.

None of his stories checked out.I don`t even think McCain`s people spent a moment checking to see if he was what he said he was.

There`s no business to buy and no money to buy one.He lied about that. He`s not a plumber. At best,a plumbers helper.

Not the guy running the bus. or even managing it.

I`ve been in the trades for 30 years and the guys who work under someone else`s license(illegal in Ohio, btw) aren`t the boss.If a guy hasn`t gotten his license by 40,he ain`t get`n it.

The attempted mugging of Obama by this guy back-fired because Obama played it straight and took ten minutes to explain what he was talking about.

But now we know that "Joe" was a McCain plant,pre-prepared and scripted to approach Obama with his famous "I want to buy a business and your tax plan will hurt me" shpeal.

If McCain`s aids had prepared Joe better,he might have gotten away with it.

I don`t think "Joe" was prepared to hear a cogent argument. At the end,Obama said he wished for his vote but wished him well even if "Joe" wasn`t going to vote for him.A class act the whole time.

They just had Joe on the stump saying to folks that Obama means death for Israel.

Now Joe the plunger is a expert on the middle east and fear monger all at once! What a crook.

Jesus help us.

Why is it that liberals think that everyone gets their information and does their research from the same sources they use, like Drudge links, for example.  As far as reading some "actual journalism"...please...I beg you...give us some ideas where to go for this "journalism".  Do you define "journalism" as editorial comment from The Boston Globe, for example?  Certiainly you wouldn't be suggesting The New York Times, The Nation, Daily Kos...MSNBC.Com or CNN.Com?
