No need to appologize... gave me something else to wax philosophical about. [image]http://www.collarchat.com/image/s4.gif[/image]

An for what it's worth... I think you're probably right.  Pointing out the logistical obstacles of such a "training" program was my way of raining on the parade.

Yes, basic Swedish Massage takes about 50 hours of instruction and practice to become reasonably OK. (I have about 125 hours of instruction). But the basic skills and concept can be taught in an hour, perhaps refreshed a few times, even with just one table and several participants. It is a little like chess. There is a rapid falloff between those who play in national tournaments, and those who think themselves good.

Cooking I take one, basic concept at a time. Fancy stuff can come later. A crock pot stew or soup can be very welcome on a cold night, and it takes very little "training" to master. Basic nutrition can be helpful. Many things can be taught in just a few hours.

I began hosting "high protocol linners" in Southern California about 15 years ago (and got sidetracked with other projects). It was a formal dinner service structured around the submissive, providing both training and experience in both formal service and basic protocol.

It was hugely appreciated by those submissives who participated. Oh, yea, the Dominant half enjoyed the experience as well.

LMAO...

I would choose from the list of workshops offered.  If you want wishful thinking, I'd have her attend the "Where To Find Ten Million Dollars In Unmarked Bills Buried In The Backyard".

I could teach the following (in bold) to her...:) Too bad you're so far away! I cook lots of yummy things for my Master and children.

Hmmmmm..... I don't know if I would buy into the "Slave Training Workshop" for reasons already listed.

I would however buy into (pun intended) classes for my slave. Cooking, first-aid, language, etiquette, candle making and leather care classes would top the list. In this case she would be learning new things that would benefit the relationship as a whole.

LadyPact -> RE: Submissive training (10/31/2008 6:30:19 PM)

Let's make this easier and I'll tell you the classes that I have encouraged (in other words told) some of My boys to attend.

  • Formal dinner service.
  • Japanese tea service.
  • Wine service.
  • Leather care.
  • Understanding your submissive soul.
  • Behavior, Obedience and Respect.
Those are a few that I pulled out of My emails that have been offered locally and semi-locally.  Sure, they could have went to similar classes while not being associated in a BDSM context.  The advantage to them being set up that way is that they get bonding time with other submissives.

Edited for spelling errors.

why are slaves always considered as her? IT should be trained to be submissive. like most others here, training camp is not a financial option, so i would have to take care of submission training myself.

there are usually many topics to choose from at slave training facilities. a variety of seminars are usually available. choose what is right for your household, and what your slave needs to focus on. each of our needs are different

In general, thinking about useful classes for the service sub, cooking, home decorating sorts of things, time management, etiquette, massage and sewing classes come to mind. Either martial arts or bellydance teach a sub how to inhabit and properly move their own body with strength and grace, which increases their beauty in their dominant's eyes. Too many people, male and female alike, never learn how to move.
