note to self:  get some superglue to fix the frames on the old glasses so I can quit squinting at the monitor ( I go back Fri for the followup eye visit, and to see if they have relatively cheap frames.. the ones I looked at Sat. were all  150.00 and up... fuckme!! I DO NOT NEED A DESIGNER NAME for a freakin pair of GLASSES)

Note to self:  bad bad karma to talk about my 4 year perfect not getting sicks, colds, stomach, flus, ect ect.
Karma is making up for the bragging. Ferking NYC germs.
I have had a chronic problem with over production of mucus in my lungs for over a month, whether its due to germs my super duper immune system has now failed me.

Or its due to all the crap coming in from the outside referb of this ancient apartment building. Gawds knows what they are knocking off the walls and landing just outside my 2nd floor windows.   Note: see rant thread for details.

And yes I do have a dr appt Thur for my first ever need for pneumonia and flu shots if not for me to ensure my sister doesnt get it from me she has a compromised immune system due to remicaid treatment for RA.  And also to check on my lungs and discuss the continous pain in my feet and ankles.

Greedy, go to Sears for the new glasses. They'll send them out and it won't be in one hour but you can get frames and polycarbonate lenses for $89.  Not the greatest choice of frames, but good enough to find something you don't mind.

djaleksandr: smart ass, there is caffeine in tea which is necessary to access my brains in the morning.

ooh.. good idea ,Des.. thanks! I was telling holly that I am gonna splurge this time (in other words, I am NOT going to get a cheapie pair of readers and have the lenses switched out)... to hell with the landlord this month.. I've been putting shit off too long as far as my health goes... (plus, he STILL hasnt gotten the electrician back to the house...grrrr)
