All I can say is.............Thank god I'm an atheist.

That is akin to saying 'Bush can blow up whatever he wants, thank god I'm a green'
Even if your an atheist, commen knowledge would lead you to understand that Jesus as a man existed. What He was or claimed to be would be less relevant - but for history, it's shaped your world no matter how you feel about it - to believe and react otherwise is naive. But thats just a simple opinion.

In the Bible, Jesus talked about Marrage being One Man & One Woman joined together & not man with man & woman with woman as well, just 1 Man & 1 Woman joined together & together the they form a Family, & they way he talked & lived, no he was not Gay.

THe bible talks of one man and one woman, but only in a metaphoric sense. Not everything biblically is exact. Remembering that the translations are only loose translations. Jesus could have been gay... who knows? Misinterpretation of the bible makes it list that homosexuality was wrong, but this is not true of the NT and is a lie. Whether Jesus was Gay or Black is irrelevant to whether He was Jesus and what He was.

Sadly we have proof that Bush exists (would that he did not.) The same can't be said of Jesus. Just some second hand, self serving writings.

Amazing, no need for seven degrees of separation when it comes to interjecting negativity about Bush. It only takes a first degree. Maybe Bush can finally address the question of how many angels can fit on the head of a pin? Of course since it pertains to him, he'd first be blamed for the forcible relocation of who/whatever existed on the head of the pin in the first place, and the fact that he only went after that particular pin because there was oil underneath the head.

There are non biblical and unbiased sources and references that mentions Jesus and he can be traced. The only difference is the disagreement in that he was the son of god. but that wasn't my point. The point is that Jesus the man existed and to ignore a fact that has shaped the world and it's development is like saying'I don't believe in politics so i won't talk about it or get involved' - because politics effects us even if we don't wish it to.

Don't mean to be picky pinky... but america didnt exist as america then, let alone african american. He was most probably middle easten in origin, or possible african due to and the way the world existed in past history. But american - most definately not.

He also was not a dominant in the same interpretation as we know of today. In fact, He would be described more as a submissive. He was a servant and a server. He was subservient. He also washed the feet of his disciples...

God was the Dominant.
Jesus the submissive.
Holy Spirit switch.
And angels are slaves.

Ah, i was so dim; i meant to say "African" but you're right, He'd have been middle eastern...i still say the blonde/blue Jesus paintings are wrong.

Somehow, it would be a raspberry in some people's faces if Jesus were a Black Gay Man. And i like upsetting them, LOL.

Actually, we do we do have second hand non-self serving writings that Yeshu'a (that's Joshua, really...this Jesus crap; no idea where that came from....anglicized? hispanized? ich weise dies nichts...poetic licences turned in, in embarrassment..) ha Notzri did exist. A relatively minor and unremarkable rabbi in the temple at the time and place specified in the bible, has a couple passages in the Talmud.

Gledlige Yule!!!!
Trivially and forgettably,
Ron.
