i believe the bipartisan bailout, even though 80% of americans was against it does help to give credit to the NWO theory.

i may be mistaken, but hasn't this same scenario played out in other countries?

DedicatedDom40 -> RE: New World Order for Dummies? (11/3/2008 9:59:57 AM)

Would be curious to know what many NWO naysayers think about the potential of a North American Union? Do you think both are equally bunk or not?

kittinSol -> RE: New World Order for Dummies? (11/3/2008 10:02:45 AM)

Oh, I just noticed that NAU sounds a lot like NWO, so it MUST be true!

The idea of a North American Union has been discussed by scholars, academics, and idealists for over a century.  It started in the 19th Century when Manifest Destiny was a popular idea.  LOTS of things have been discussed by scholars and academics.  Undersea cities, terraforming Mars, interstellar travel, time machines, domed cities on the Moon.......I could keep going.

Do you think any of that's going to happen in your or my lifetime?  We don't need a NAU.  We already trade openly with Mexico and Canada; we've been doing that for a long time.  Yes, we even did it before NAFTA.  Again, this is just conspiracy theory nonsense from people who enjoy scaring the shit out of themselves.

Of course it’s not real.

Just remember to believe everything they tell you; agree to what they want (it’s for your own good) and; if your not with them, you’re against them.

p.s. Don’t give the recent "meal for greed" (bailout, rescue package) a second thought.

LMAO!   for sure.

BUT it makes for fun fiction [8D] .

Yea, Eisenhower of all people was one of the first conspiracy nuts to occupy the white house. Also, I have to agree that if you watch the entire Kennedy speech 5+ min. I mean what a stupid ass...what did HE know, after all he was only POTUS and was brainwashed by Eisenhower. Well, wasn't he ?

The Amero isn't really coming and there really was no secret treaty negotiated (secret 'free' trade treaties either) to combine our country with Can and Mex.

I mean really...Kissinger didn't resign as chairman of the 9/11 commission immediately after it was simply discovered he was not only a member of the CFR but also the Bildergerg group. I mean, tell us why Henry.

I mean Kennedy wasn't really shot was he ? According to National Inquirer he's still alive in his 90's with his own harem.

The problem is, these people of NO account, these well known delusional conspiracy nuts knew exactly what they were saying, knew exactly what they were talking about and knew exactly where the real power is in this world. The Kennedys' in opposition to the Bushes, didn't go along and John didn't just tell us, he was going to go after them, expose them. So both bought a bullet in the head for it.

The PRIVATE Federal Reserve bank isn't really (is) a private bank owned by the families of Warburg, Rothchilds, Duponts, Rockefellers, among other very rich and poweful industrialists and bankers from as far back as 1695 with the formation of the bank of England.

Ben Franklin didn't really interview after our war of indepedence and inform us that the single most important and motivating call to revolt was because the American colony was not going to be allowed to operate a free and honest money system. Why ? Because then we had to borrow every piece of currency from you guessed it...the bank of England.

It's easy to find out just who exactly owns our federal (private) reserve bank except that for national security reasons even your FOI lawsuit is quashed. Why is the private ownership of our fed so secret ?

We haven't really been paying the fed for every bit of currency in circulation. Some estimate $36 million PER HOUR.

The idea of a NWO goes back to the 40's when the Bilderberg group was formed and it was decided that they, they had better make the world a safer and oh BTW, much more profitable place to live.

I mean look, the world is at peace (2 wars east vs west) and there are no war profits. The price of oil didn't really double in months. The price of medical insurance didn't really double in 8 years. We haven't really just given wall street a trillion dollars. The fed didn't really comit another several hundred Billion dollars in T-Bills in our name to help consolidate their financial power. We haven't really driven our children into $10 trillion in debt soon to be 11.

Naw, none of this happened, it's just a wild conspiracy.

candystripper -> RE: New World Order for Dummies? (11/3/2008 5:33:52 PM)

Do other parts of the world have such nusiance myths?  Are there nutjobs in Egpyt or China decrying conspiracies dating back 5.000 years?  Or is this just part of what makes America such a *special* place to live?

On the NAU thingy -- what kind of anesthia would get used on Canadians while this is getting snuck by?

News Flash: The Moon Lizards who run the world are not real... they are from that terrible 1980s sci-fi series "V".

If there really was an omniscient and omnipotent trilateral commission/freemason/illuminati/"wing-nut conspiracy of your choice" out there, don't you suppose they'd be doing just a little bit better!!??!!

I mean, if they've been at this for 400 years or so, you'd think they'd have long ago set up everything just the way they want it, and everyone who questioned them would have long since been carried off by Gurkha troops in black helicopters in the middle of the night.

To my mind, the thing about conspiracy theories is that they are subconsciously comforting- The idea that the War Department knew about the impending attack on Pearl Harbor but allowed it to happen to serve their nefarious ends is much less frightening than the possibility that all of us, right to the president, were deceived by the Japanese. The same thing is true with 9-11 conspiracies. I suspect that is the case with Illuminati believers as well- all of these mythologies hinge on the idea that somebody at the top really has it all figured out, and bad things happen simply because they allow it.

Reality is somewhat different. The U.S. Government is a lot like Upton Sinclair's meat-packaging industry- it stays in business, but if you look behind the scenes it is a dreadful, lumbering, horrendously disorganized disaster. It only looks good when it's standing next to the U.N. :)

I dont think the coming of the Euro was a democratically consented event, simply because you could never get that many people in that many different countries to ever agree - a statistical impossibility. Many of those countries lost their currencies without "the people" having much say.  Would we really see a different experience here?

The Council on Foreign Relations has actual "white papers" on their own website that discuss how to go about creating the NAU, including timelines. There are references to creating a common border pass, a common security perimeter, single trade tarriffs, the expansion of NORAD coverage, and the steps needed to ensure free flow of people between the three countries (and yet, here, the conservative working class in this country gets all riled about immigration and demands the building of walls along the Rio Grande - lol).

Now, I do understand that white papers are not the same as action plans or mandates, but it is proof that organized thinking among groups with heavy political connections is indeed happening.

Where I live, whenever the city runs into financial trouble, they use annexation as a tactic to include additional territory into the city's boundary to bring in new residents into the city tax base. These residents do not ask for annexation, nor are they eager to start paying city taxes for minimal city services.

But if annexation happens everday at the municipal government level, why would it be so unthinkable at a federal government level when the US tax base collapses as the result of our new economy of pizza delivery jobs? Canada has the natural resources, and Mexico has the cheap labor that can be considered very attractive to some.

However, it's not the government.  The paper's by The Council on Foreign Relations:

"Thinking about and discussing pressing foreign-policy issues is a long-established tradition at CFR, a nonpartisan and independent membership organization. As you can learn by reading our mission statement, CFR has promoted understanding of foreign policy and America’s role in the world since its founding in 1921. It does this in a variety of ways: by convening meetings at which government officials, global leaders, and CFR members debate major foreign-policy issues; by operating a think tank that is home to the world’s most prominent scholars of international affairs; by sponsoring Task Forces and commissioning books and reports; and by publishing Foreign Affairs, the leading journal of global politics."

Government officials participate, but that doesn't mean it's a plan of the government.

In 1992, Dr John Coleman published  Conspirators' Hierarchy: The Story of the Committee of 300. With laudable scholarship and meticulous research, Dr Coleman identifies the players and carefully details the Illuminati agenda of worldwide domination and control. On page 161 of the Conspirators Hierarchy, Dr Coleman accurately summarizes the intent and purpose of the Committee of 300 as follows:

"A One World Government and one-unit monetary system, under permanent non-elected hereditary oligarchists who self-select from among their numbers in the form of a feudal system as it was in the Middle Ages. In this One World entity, population will be limited by restrictions on the number of children per family, diseases, wars, famines, until 1 billion people who are useful to the ruling class, in areas which will be strictly and clearly defined, remain as the total world population.

There will be no middle class, only rulers and the servants. All laws will be uniform under a legal system of world courts practicing the same unified code of  laws, backed up by a One World Government police force and a One World unified military to enforce laws in all former countries where no national boundaries shall exist. The system will be on the basis of a welfare state; those who are obedient and subservient to the One World Government will be rewarded with the means to live; those who are rebellious will simple be starved to death or be declared outlaws, thus a target for anyone who wishes to kill them. Privately owned firearms or weapons of any kind will be prohibited."

All I am saying is:
You never know....

oh...and
"Free... your...   mind"
