Hurray! I just heard back from my publisher about my first erotica novel. He loved it! He asked me "could it be a trilogy?" and I said, "well, maybe, I'd rather see how well it sells first". Don't know exactly when but it should be out in 2006. Just needed someone to show my good news and I seem to have lost my alt newsgroups I'd normally post to about this. Hhmmmm......

Being in a very specialized genre sales are small but I mostly write for myself and am just please to make spare money and protect what I write before I sale it. Thank you everyone. This may turn out to be a mixed blessing. It's likely that being an erotic author gets you on a list for the NSA to monitor all your communications. ah -- I'm making that up (I hope). Congrats!

I'm totally out and have been for a decade plus now with my erotica work. They can monitor whatever they all like.... If anyone wants my website to read samples of my published work, just send me a note and I think I can give you the link then. The site is completely free, I'm not a professionally anything other than a writer and an educator -- I get paid in royalties and salaries.

Congratulations! I know several people that have struggled and struggled to get published (and two of them are excellent writers.) Tough gig - you must be very talented.
