ShieldWolf -> RE: 1st Election result...Dixville Notch NH (11/4/2008 12:43:15 AM)

Yes, handily I believe. Also, Jesus was a spritiual leader. The men who turned him over to Pilate were community organizers.

Geez, are you guys too lazy to look stuff up?  Took me all of 10 seconds to find this, in the first article on Google:

DIXVILLE NOTCH, New Hampshire (CNN) -- Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama emerged victorious in the first election returns of the 2008 presidential race, winning 15 of 21 votes cast in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire. Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, is the first in the nation to vote in the primaries and Election Day.[image]http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/.element/img/2.0/mosaic/base_skins/baseplate/corner_wire_BL.gif[/image] People in the isolated village in New Hampshire's northeast corner voted just after midnight Tuesday. It was the first time since 1968 that the village leaned Democratic in an election.

Or do you just deliberately spread BS in the hopes that some of it might stick?

Damn...too many FoxNews denizens live in a delusional world.

What's going to happen to Fox's policy of licking the White House administration's ass after tonight? Poor Fox.

       Wind and rain in LA.  Anybody willing to let that stop them shouldn't be allowed to vote anyway.

I demand a recount.

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: 1st Election result...Dixville Notch NH (11/4/2008 6:30:10 AM)

it's a beautiful, bright and sunny day in Chicago!  good voting weather here.

there are reports on the local news that a record number of people were lined up hours before polls opened in my neighborhood.  Barack just voted an hour ago.

Cagey18, it was late, I was tired, I was asking a simple question.
You arrived at the conclusion of "Fox Denizen" out of a simple question?
Just for the record and as all the regulars in here know, I'm an *Independant voter* "unenrolled" who doesn't like Dems or Reps.
I'll be voting for Chuck Baldwin of the Constitutional Party for president later today and against Lindsey Graham one of our Republican senators because he called the citizens of S.C. "bigots" because we want our immigration laws enforced and because he voted for "amnesty" for illegal aliens.
I do watch FOX on occaision but I also watch CNBC, MSNBC, and a few others as well.
You must be a Lefty?
If Abbadabba wins it'll be fun tearing him a new asshole over the next four years!
The same goes for McCain.
Just *one* mistake,......go ahead, "make my day Mr. President!"
And that's not "B.S. that I'm trying to make stick."

The guys who killed him though were the Conservatives ;)

Isn't that always the case though. The definition of irony, or is it hypocrisy.

It's supposed to be rainy and windy here today.
As my Navy Company Commander in boot camp once told us; "If you're afraid of water this MIGHT not be the outfit for you!"

Cagey18 -> RE: 1st Election result...Dixville Notch NH (11/4/2008 6:50:45 AM)

Read my post more carefully, now that you're awake.  Clearly my "BS" comment applies to ShieldWolf.  I included your question for context.

Although you must admit a more "independent" question would have been something like "Who won that in 2004?".  Plus your "Hmm" casts doubt, and doesn't come across as "independent".

I agree (I know don't fall off your chair, it probably won't happen again).
Only God himself could have stopped me from voting today.   I cannot imagine that any woman interested in women's issues would fail to vote today.    M
