Is there much interest from CollarMe poters,particularly those political junkies that spend large chunks of their time arguing here,to meeting in Washington Jan.20th.I know I intend to be there...how about it,anyone else feel like hearing a speech and meeting fellow kinksters?

Sounds like a great idea. Except that's it outside. In DC. In late January. And the hotels -and airlines- are probably already booked solid. Just like with Grant Park here in Chicago this evening, I'll enjoy it all from the comfort of my recroom. Assuming I still have a house... ~Dave

Assuming I still have a house... ~Dave The hotel thing is easy to fix...book rooms in College Park MD...transportation to Washington via train...worked fine when I took my son to the Nation's Capitol years ago...why not now? So we can count you in Windchymes for the whole meet and greet thing?

It's going to be a ball in Washington... if my wishes become true - but to tell you the truth I'm glued to CNN right now feeling like I'm going to have a heart attack: the suspense is killing me. I don't know if I can make it through the night [sm=wall.gif] .

Georgia if I felt that way,I wouldn't have started the thread....we are all kinksters of one stripe or another.This is America differing political stripes are part and parcel of the fabric....I hold no animosity towards anyone who is willing to extend their hand to me.

That's the problem with typed commentary rather than spoken - ya can't hear tone of voice to know Easily that someone is making a wisecrack joke... The part I wasn't joking about is northern winters absolutely not agreeing with me - lived in the PA/MD area for just one winter season, and that was enough to send me back south wondering if my bones would ever thaw enough to quit aching! (Now if there's ever a get together in Florida... or Texas... or Cali... somethin like that... definately count me in... ) edited to add .... thinking about it, the rapid thaw of the hot tub sounds Really Good right now... and it hasn't even really started getting significantly cool yet for the fall/winter...

Buy a warm coat and make the trip...the warmth generated by new friends shall keep you toasty..
