Hi folks,
I would like to add a little philosophy to this sweet thread.

When I'm driving down the highway and the police officer's lights are swirling behind, and there is a screech of siren, I have one of two reactions.

1.  My eart pounds, adrenaline pumps, and I think "dang, I got caught."
2.  I think "have a nice day officer and I hope that if there is an accident, everyone is safe."

The first is when I'm speeding.  The second is when I'm not. I am proud that I almost always have the 2nd experience.

I'm proud of what we accomplished as a nation just the other night. And to feel hopeful for our future.

I'm proud to be a loyal friend and a good man.

I'm proud of my Mother and Father who raised me to be that way.

I'm proud of my musical talent. (Again...Mom and Dad.)

I'm proud of My little girl, who has so much on her plate at any given time and handles it all. And yet she always makes Me feel loved like I have never known before.

I'm proud of myself for being man enough to shed tears in front of a room full of people while saying a final goodbye to a dear friend recently.

I'm proud of the fact that I have a good, strong work ethic.

I'm proud of myself for going after what I want, whether I get it or not.
