Exactly but the majority who seem to be interested in that are the ones who want to be supervised all the time, or they do things wrong or break stuff "by mistake" so they get punished. I don't get that, if somebody wants pain, just ask for it, by breaking things and such they'd just piss me off and I'd send them away. It's not really rocket science

Oh dear.  LOL!  The perennial communications problems between dommes and subs . . .

LadyConstanze -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 6:09:40 AM)

Nope, just the fact that I rather pay a cleaner, I know it is a job well done and I don't have to put up with those kind of "subs"

PeonForHer -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 6:14:42 AM)

Over here there's a thriving company that sends round nude cleaners, of both sexes.  Maybe that'd be a way to go . . .

Ewww, thanks but I don't plan to watch dangly bits, actually cleaner comes when I'm not there and I come back to a clean house, works best for me, if she decides to clean in the buff, I hope she won't scare the pets as the lady is rather substantial

MsStarlett -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 6:43:24 AM)

Tell ya what Peon... You may come clean my house in the buff while I'm at work.  When I get home, I'll beat you just because I'd like to see that lovely back of yours covered in red welts, not because you broke my lamp or failed to get that mildew off the grout around the tub.

If you're a VERY good boy, you can make me breakfast with peppered tinned tomatoes... whatever those are.

---------

Just toss my undies in the washing machine with the towels and a touch of bleach.  Leave your crusty ones at home.  It'll all be good.

I can't understand why there'd ever be a need to fold undies, V.

Or wash them, for that matter.  Me, I just spray mine with deodorant every couple of weeks and they're good as new.  When they get too stiff and bits start breaking off, I just throw them away and buy another pair.  Sorted.

Ah.  I was wondering what that smell was.

PeonForHer -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 10:36:50 AM)

You wouldn't have to bother with those red welts, Ms S.  I've got a fine red rash growing up my back from underpant region anyway.  Some variety of tapeworm, I should think. [:D]

Dear Ladies. I have a great deal of experience in hand washing, hand drying and putting away my own very good lingerie. (Good lingerie should never be put in a washing machine, washed with regular detergent, put in a dryer or even hung on a line to dry.) I’m surprised no one mentioned the perfumed sachet bag in the lingerie drawer. It really wouldn’t matter to me if I was being watched, or not. I’m very good at this task, I enjoy it (a small labor of love), and I wouldn’t mind at all doing it for someone else who would appreciate it. I understand very expensive lingerie and the correct hand techniques, towels and washes to use. I also understand the value of fine lingerie and the desire to take great care of it. Seriously, putting your Aubaude or Perla in a washing machine?! This is just something I’m good at and truly enjoy doing. There is nothing more pleasing than like new, dainty lingerie, freshly laundered and pretty smelling. I really love doing lingerie (whether it’s mine or a lady’s who appreciates lingerie as much as I do.) Cherry.

LadyConstanze -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 2:06:36 PM)

You might hate me for this, but Wolfords, LaPerla, Aubade, Chantelle etc. if they don't survive a washing machine, they are simply not useful...

But definitely a sachet in the lingerie drawer

MsStarlett -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 3:15:02 PM)

Truth be told, I'm to old and cantankerous to wear those lacy frilly things in 'real life.'  I like Hane's Her Way.  Comfy, functional, machine washable.  The frilly lacy things and thongs that I wear in photos never get washed... just bagged up and mailed to those who will appreciate them.  New undies for every photo shoot.

--Edited when I saw what my spellchecker substituted for 'cantankerous'.

The panties go in the washer with like colors and weighted fabrics.

They get neatly stacked and put away. (How does one neatly fold a bra, btw?)

This is appreciated no more or less than anything else I do.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 3:34:13 PM)

My Wolford goes into the washer on delicate, sometimes in one of those mesh bags.  It's ageless timeless polyester, for heaven's sake!

LadyConstanze -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 3:48:29 PM)

Mesh bags, because sometimes the delicate weaving (see through bits of the body stockings) don't really take kindly to the washing machine or dryer...

No way I would risk that body stocking without a mesh bag.... Halloween costume btw and not my house, too pink for my taste but people thought my costume looked so real, I smiled sweetly and didn't say a word...

genuineservant -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 4:10:39 PM)

I always handwash all of my wife/Mistress' underwear.  It is expected of me and I do not need to be supervised while doing it.  She sometimes smells them after they dry to make sure that I did my task well.  It is time well spent since I am doing it for my Mistress.

LadyConstanze -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 4:17:14 PM)

I'd rather have you do the ironing and possibly clean the kitchen than waste time on hand-washing undies, seriously, if I spend a fortune on undies I do expect them to be well made enough to survive a tumble in the washing machine, if they are too fragile for that, no use to me.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 4:21:13 PM)

Exactly!  I am extra cautious around the sheer pieces of the Wolford, but it is reasonably sturdy stuff!  Just don't wash them with the jeans, or tint my light clothing dark by mixing colours incorrectly...

YourhandMyAss -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 4:21:48 PM)

I do, but I am an easy way kind of creature so I just throw them in the wash.

In real life, who has time to hand wash lingerie?

PeonForHer -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 5:15:07 PM)

Truth be told, I'm to old and cantankerous to wear those lacy frilly things in 'real life.'

I'm glad to hear that, Ms S.  IMO, frilly things shouldn't be worn by any female over the age of 15.  If I were to discover such items in the laundry of a supposed "domme" - I'd realise instantly that she were a sham.  In fact, I'd probably ditch the D/s world and become gay instead.  I will not tolerate frilly underwear under any circumstances and I believe that my limits should be respected.

MsStarlett -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 5:20:30 PM)

I believe your limits should be violated... and often.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: panty washers? (11/8/2008 5:25:15 PM)

Is that BANTER I hear???
