Status: offline 		Been a long time since we had a cigarette smoker for a Presidential or VP nominee.  I cannot recall one since FDR with his famous cigarette holder.

It's not official WH policy.  In fact it only went non-smoking in 1993 because Hillary didn't want people smoking in her house (and I can't blame her). 

Dunno if that was continued under Bush.  Laura is widely believed to be a closet smoker.

Status: offline 		well i wouldnt' classify obama as gorgeous, but that's a personal preference.  i really don't think his nicotine habit is something to worry about...if he were a convicted pedophile i'd be worried, cigs aren't really that big a deal if you ask me.
