I was wondering how many Ladies here have mantras and meditations for their boys to focus on, and what other methods you use to focus--would love to use the term brainwash, but it's just an evil fantasy--your slaves on worshipping you.

i have recently been interested in sensory isolation & deprivation during mantras.

I wonder if any Women here have anything to contribute to that idea? Ideas, techniques, methods?
Would love to pick your brain!

It's said that meditation brings about the same kind of brain state as that experienced under hypnosis and, re that, I've seen the profiles of  "hypnotist-dommes" pop up occasionally, Ms DM.

Once, also, I downloaded a video that intrigued me.  It turned out to be quite a bit more impressive than I thought it'd be: just the woman's face, and voice, talking mesmerically about how you, the viewer, was now to do everything for her (etc, etc.) because your mind 'now belonged to her'.  A recording (even audio only), on continuous loop, in a fairly sound-proofed room, with questions that he has to answer  . . . hmmm.

But hey, why am I answering you?  You're evil!

Frankly, I'd feel silly expecting someone to worship me, so, no, I haven't - and wouldn't - give someone a mantra.  I mean, really, I doubt if I could get "You will say 30 times a day 'Paige is my goddess'" out of my mouth without dissolving onto the floor in paroxysms of laughter.

Edited to add:  Someone either wants to submit to me or he doesn't.  If I have to mess about with mantras to get him "in the mood," he's probably not a good match for me anyway.

Ummm, this isnt about "getting him in the mood". It's about training and enhancing an atmosphere of worship and focus. that's OK if you don't want to be worshipped..I love it. But thanks for expressing your opinion, anyway, i guess...

i like the video idea. In another thread of mine where we are discussing a "head box", someone brought up integrating video inside it. The video you mention sounds perfect for it.

I'm really not evil..honest.

p.s. you have a nice back

The closest I get to this is that I have a particular way I begin a formal scene. It involves physical positions, tone of my voice, the specific words I use, and the act of placing a collar on the sub's neck. Haven't done this in a long time but the last time Fox and I formally played I did and he fell hard into bottomspace or subspace when we went through it.

I suppose I wasn't clear enough.  I find the concept of being "worshipped" the province of people who take themselves far too seriously.

I always thought the term "I want to worship you" was an euphemism for "I want to lick body your parts that are called private for a reason and call it worship to make it sound more BDSM"

You are my new internet hero!

And I am not the kind who wants to be "worshipped", just taken care of.    I figure if someone wants to put me on a pedestal, it's to look up my skirt.  Or knock me down, and say "Knew it all along".

I would make a damned bad real life hero, since most people tend to think my sense of humour is somewhat screwed up, usually Brits get it though and I lose them again when I tell them that I am actually a German national (not supposed to grasp humour you know) and when they are OK with that I confuse them further and tell them that I might have some German blood in me because I once got a blood transfusion ;)

When I lived in Germany there were quite a few people with a good sense of humour....

I used to have a superb Italian restaurant/wine bar right around the corner (literally spitting distance) and got on with the staff like a house on fire (my mom is Italian) so one night I had a glass of wine and a bit of food there and a guy came over, he was a bit well stereotypical German, mullet, moustache, teased chest hair... I told him I am not interested and if he would please remove his hand from my butt before I'm forced to stick my fork in his eye. He got the hint and left, came back a bit later (several drinks for him later) and asked "What do I have to do to fuck you?" Waiters were ready to pounce, so I decided that would be far too mild a punishment and said "You know, just wait 40 to 50 years and dig me out, I'm sure I won't mind then!" Long silence, after 5 minutes he asked "Did you turn me down or insult me?" I don't recall how I made it home because the bar staff was busy plying me with drinks and I did feel a bit the worse for wear the next day...

Ohhh, I like this.  I've used things similar but, oddly despite my own meditational mantra use and military background, I've never used a mantra for a sub/slave of mine.  Thanks for the thought, I'll be considering it and might just put on in place :D

I find the concept of needing to take time out of your day to declare "that's dumb because I don't believe in it" the province of people who take themselves far too seriously.

I'm a narcissist, true..at least I can admit it.

Always a pleasure to share thoughts. I like creating a cult-like following and being treated like a goddess. males seem to respond well to it too from what I have noticed.

I love telling Germans this, Lady C, because for some reason, very few Germans get told it at school.  The word "German" means "cousin".  It comes from the root word "germ" - i.e. "seed".  "German" literally means "from the same seed".

If I want to keep a sub's mind focused, I just make him wear a red ribbon tied around his cock & balls all day.

Or have them inking stars on it.

How's that star on your dick, *you know who you are*?  Won't scrub off to easy, will it?  *giggle*  I wouldn't be using any public urinals for a couple of days if I were you.

I s'pose it could be. "Worship" is not something I would ever demand or request. It turned out to be something I could inspire, though, due to some accident of masochistic/submissive brain chemistry.

At that moment, it did not matter one bit whether I took myself "seriously" or not: when a man looks up at you with the blood thundering through his brain and gasps out "Goddess!" without a shred of premeditation or cynicism...it's not because he's been moved to religious awe by the size of your ego. He's just so overwhelmed by pain/pleasure/arousal/fear that it's causing some kind of shamanic religious experience.

Really profound in its way, and I suppose you could court the mindstate through meditation rather than just stumbling into it by accident as well. Gotta say, though, that people probably need to find some other word to call this kind of BDSM, because I would agree that right now "worship" is pretty much a degraded term that just means "rubbing and licking".

Boot worship, foot worship, body worship...not exactly the kind of worship we're talking about.

Yes! Thats it, described rather well, too. I'm glad to see someone who gets what I'm saying. Its kind of strange that so few seem to, but...

...lol, i must admit, you have a good point there. Perhaps homage or adulation?
