Chezzy, you can go back and edit something you've already posted.  I've never seen that capability on any other message board.  Pretty useful.

I think you worry too much about details sometimes, Ms S.  If a man's being stuffed, he wouldn't even care about the colour of the strap-on he's being stuffed with, let alone the colour of the van in which he's receiving the stuffing.

A friend of mine is a hypnotist.  He specialises in 'curing' overeating habits.  He's quite successful at it, by all accounts.  Recently, I noticed a "hypnosis domme" appearing in the list of profiles.  She said she was looking for subs who were willing to reach some deeper level of submission by means of hypnosis.

I started wondering: if there's a D/s interaction between hypnotist and subject respectively, how much more successful would be that kind of treatment?

Hypnotism and mind control are actually very common BDSM fantasies for both men and women.  There is a large body of mesmeric porn on the Internet.  It's a fantasy of giving up control, like any other.

I think there is a good deal of fun to be had with this fantasy, especially if you have a domme with a lovely voice or particularly powerful eyes...

Yummy.  I will have to try this sometime.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Mental focus and worship (11/11/2008 1:55:36 PM)

A dear friend of mine was very interested in hypnosis and scenes, and the idea is intriguing.  I've never been trained in hypnosis, and I wouldn't want to experiment with it without training from someone who actually knew what the hell they were doing...  I would like to learn it, though, just to see what happens.  I've studied the theory of Ericksonian hypnosis, and the possibilities for fun are certainly. there.

mummyman321 -> RE: Mental focus and worship (11/11/2008 1:59:23 PM)

I am in! But what to try?

1) Being hynotized first only to wake up and find yourself throughly bound and unable to move?

2) Being bound and helpess and then hypnotized

And there are so many more variations to try also!

OttersSwim -> RE: Mental focus and worship (11/11/2008 4:09:30 PM)

I think this is what must have happened to Bono...it is the only explanation that makes sense...somewhere a Domme is sitting back and laughing and laughing...  [;)]

PeonForHer -> RE: Mental focus and worship (11/11/2008 4:13:35 PM)

Yummy.

Excellent points all, Shakti; however, I do think it's inappropriate for any female over the age of 14 to use the word "yummy".

If I were able to have a hypnotist participate in a topping scene with me and a sub, I think I'd most enjoy him giving my bottom a command that made him extremely nervous/uneasy/afraid of something I was wearing - like my gloves or boots.  Or, give me a command word, and when I said it, my bottom would not be able to move, or would shut his eyes and not be able to open them - kind of like bondage-mind-control.

I don't know though, Lady H.  I could imagine a woman with penetrating eyes, solemn expression, intoning melodiously and deeply - me really, really wanting to go along with it, brain and groin totally in harmony - then just bursting out laughing.

Oh, I don't know.  If my mind could be wiped, it'd take an industrial-strength cleaning machine.  As I'm sure many will be glad to agree, there's an awful lot of junk in there.

And the hypnotist, guru, whatever - she'd just better not eat any baked beans or onions just before the session.  One single fart and all the magic's popped.

MsStarlett -> RE: Mental focus and worship (11/11/2008 4:40:52 PM)

The most entertaining show we saw at Frolicon last Easter was the hypnotist.  He was a total scream!  Among the other things he had people doing, he told all the women in the hypnotized group that they had a special button on their wrists.  Whenever he or the woman's partner touched that button, she would orgasm.  He went around and touch each lady.  The noises they made were quite telling.  He was quite delighted in the very happy sounds one woman made... he went back and touched her several times.  He explained that the button would only work for a few hours... He also mentioned that the #1 request he got from people who spoke to him after the show was for 'the button'.

I personally think I would prefer to see Peon's friend.... but he'd probably turn me off chocolate.... then what would I have to live for?

You mean you have to be brainwashed for that?  Gees, Chezzy, you're no fun!

Come on, Ms S.  Don't stretch our credibility here.

Are you seriously saying that you heard a woman sounding very happy?

My danger is that *I* would be the one to start laughing.  Or belching, I am good at that one, too.  See, now you have me thinking about gas-related posthypnotic suggestions.  You are a bad, bad, man Peon~

MsStarlett -> RE: Mental focus and worship (11/11/2008 7:03:35 PM)

He's not really bad.  He just acts that way in hopes of getting you to turn him over your knee, dear Lady H.

Nonsense.  There are only two true mantras in this world:  one is "yuk" [:'(] and the other is "yum" [:)].

I am of the Yum persuasion and I will not be denied my religious freedom.  [:)]  Besides, I can quite assure you--when I call a man "yummy", I do not sound like a 14-year-old.

Back to the topic, though...hmm, yes.

Hypnotism and mesmerism are uses of suggestion to achieve a desired state of consciousness.  Affirmations, meditations, mantras, and focus on objects or images are also effective to alter consciousness--in a much healthier and more SSC fashion than the use of drugs.

Akasha brings up an interesting side point, too. The state of mind that the victim of the hypnosis experiences is not necessarily warm and fuzzy:  the same technique could be used to inspire some kind of adrenaline reaction like fear.  If you were the sort of woman who was aroused by a man shaking with real, genuine, impossible-to-fake terror, this would be a way to experience that without actually having to inflict any real harm or threat of harm...

Certainly it could help to solve all those troublesome scenes with a man twice your size, who wants to be kidnapped or something.  Just hypnotize him beforehand for a session or two, to be helpless to resist you when you speak a certain trigger word.  Hell, you could walk right into his workplace and kidnap him:  he'd follow you straight out of the building, get into your car, cooperate with the bondage...

Oh, and thank you, Shakti, I "yummy" has been my general adjective of choice lately, and I use it often!

*raises an eyebrow*  Peon's naked bum-cleavage wouldn't have anything to do with that, would it?

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Mental focus and worship (11/11/2008 9:06:09 PM)

Oh hell, no!  (that isn't really his picture, is it?)
