Many have been speculating if the US is ready for a female president.

Well in Chile, a single mother has won the first round of Chile's presidential elections.

Are we ready?

Hehe, the article doesn't say her age. But it does appear she may definately have a good chance at winning.
I'm sure even if she isn't sexually satisfied there will be a long list of "donors" or whatever you'd like to call them standing in line for her attentions once she does win.

personally, i think that there should be a lady president, i mean...in all the generations this country has been around, it's been run by men, and they alway seem to screw things up. as for the budget, i think that, if a lady were president, that budget would be elliminated alot sooner than it is now. besides, if there "were" a lady president, i might be more interested in the tele-conferences they alway seem to hold. i could see a lady president interupting a sporting event rather than regular programming...especially soap operas. does anyone know what's been going on on The Young ANd The Restless or General Hospital lately? i've missed a few shows.

thinks I'm probably one of few women who will openly admit this... but I don't think this country can handle a female president... I think we'll see one of a different origin before we see a woman in office... and as far as men screwing up the presidency...nope.. it's not being a man thats doing that... it's all the political bs that does that so it will happen to man woman or beast...

I don't care either way if the President is a woman or not. At the moment I would say no just because the female candidate would most likely be "Republican-Lite" Hillary Clinton. Blech...

I'd really like to see a President from a third party, but I won't hold my breath on that one.

people have often asked me why i don't vote and the answer is simple...there's nobody worth voting for. none of the candidates that i have ever seen have been worth the effort, doesn't matter what their party is...they ALL suck. lets vote in a poor person and see what happens...forget about these rich SOBs that constant screw up and make matters worse.

I think the US is ready for a Female President. After all, it's already been speculated atleast 30 of the first ladies were the real president. It was back in the 60's when wives were specificly used in party campaigns on TV to help raise votes. Some if not most based there votes on the actions and speeches of the canidates wife rather than the canidate.

However, there are many parts of the world who aren't ready for a female president. There are many cultures who belive that women are to be under men. It's a big reason why Margret Thatcher only served one term as Prime Minister. As PM she had to deal with many 3rd world countries that felt that she had no right to be at any of the meetings and didn't want to work with her.

For my oppinion, as long as the person has the balls to push the button, I could care less if our president is a male or female.

I don't think the majority of voters (the same majority that are responsible for the induhvidual in the White House today) will ever elect a female President. Personally, I don't care whether our President is black, white, green, male, female, whatever—just as long as they're qualified for the job.

you obviously didn't read or understand what i just said even though you quoted me...allow me to repeat what i said again:

there has not been anyone worth voting for, regardless of the party they belong to. i have the right, as does everyone here, to express my opinions. "IF" they ever come up with a worthy candidate, then and only then, will i vote. but, as long as the rich run things i'll never vote for any of them because they do not care about people...only the almighty dollar and screwing the citizens of this country.

my two cents worth. sorry for being so bold as to express myself in a rather unseemly manner.

She may have the balls, but she lacks the necessary charisma needed to appeal to the mainstream.

She also lacks the loyalty that her husband had from within their inner-circle. She doesn't inspire the same kind of confidence.

She's both transparent and mean-spirited. Former staffers have walked away with a dirty taste in their mouths after having worked for her.

Watch the news...Pissing Hiliary off is equivalency to bending over and picking up a bar of soap in a prison shower - Sooner or later your gonna get it.


Hang around for a while and watch her sink like the Titanic - My prediction.

How exactly does sitting on your ass doing nothing but whining help to change that? What's your grand plan, click your heels together three times and hope for the President of your dreams to appear in a flash of smoke?

We will never have a President who isn't "rich," and that's just the way it is. Because of that, we'll almost certainly never have anyone you would consider a "worthy candidate" as President. Knowing that, you don't think it's a worthwhile goal to try and elect the person who will hopefully do the better job and fuck shit up less than the other candidates? That's not worth getting off your ass for? If you can't get your dream President, you're just going to pout and not play? That's brilliant.

The mindless apathy exhibited by you and those who think like you is a huge part of why there is a man in the white house who has no qualms about stripping away our liberties to satisfy his own personal agenda. If you don't take part in the process, you share some of the guilt when it fails. You're a willing accomplice in the "screwing the citizens of this country."

That is quite unlikely in that you have to be native born in the USA to be president last I read, no naturalization or adoption.
