I was feeling sore from rearranging the furniture yesterday evening, so I thought a quick massage at the salon before my other appointment would fix me up before our trip. So I called. When the salon is busy, any calls go directly to voice mail and they call you back when they come back to the desk. I began to leave my message when Chuck (my cat) decided to take a close look at the birds. Petey (my cockatiel) had gotten down to the bottom of the playpen with Pan *my parrot) at the top making sure he stayed there (just fluffing in display) and there was Chuck in his "Come to Poppa!" pose, poised below Petey. Now, that being said; here is the message I left: "Hi.. this is Susan. I see Catharyn at 1:00 PM for a waxing and want to see if the massuse would be able to see me for a quick neck and shou.. {"stop.. stop it Chuck. Get back!"} (in a hushed whisper) ".. my neck and shoulder just before I see…" {"NO CHUCK! STOP IT!!! No!!!!! STOP!!"} -CLICK- (at which point I hung up the phone and rescued the bird) . (… and, yes, I did call back afterward to speak to a person and explain what was going on for which the receptionist said she was grateful as she pondered if she needed to call the police to come to my aid).
