Too many folks into Domination and Submission are judgemental. The 'One Twue Way' folks hate on the kinksters. The Goreans get picked on quite a bit, as do the polyamorous folks. Wake the fk up! Everyone else hates us! Christ onna cracker, does no one ever leave the fking house? I get hated on for being Catholic, not being 'Catholic enough', being a 'girl' lawyer, not being Polish, not knowing the history of the Czech Republic, being too fat, being a smoker, etc. etc. etc. In the past, I've been hated on for not being Puerto Rican, not being Cuban, not being Ukranian, being a 'Yankee bitch', ad nauseum. I do NOT need to add 'being kinky' to the repetorie of things I get hated on for here in Cleveland. When I come to the CM message boards, it's to relax and enjoy the company of folks like me. I expect to learn about Domination and Submission, and to get the 'kink' viewpoint of folks here. I love reading posts from IronBear, the.dark., and Termynator. LordandMaster has always been the most erudite of all CM members, and the depth of his knowledge on the most arcane of subjects has been amazing to me. LadyEllen's posts are fascinating to me. So are missturbation's. (If I haven't named you, it's because I did not want this Op to be 5 ft long, LOL.) I know everyone is invested in their POV but when I read shit like 'this is my lifestyle' I cannot help wondering WTF! You're not a property owner? A taxpayer? A member of your own family? I had a freaking LIFE before I found D/s, and I still do. I have shit to do, though I am semi-retired. Before we start hating on one another, can't we all pause and reflect a bit? Do we really need to tell someone inexperienced in dating off the 'net to get out and meet real people? You never know who will read what you have written. Do you really want to contribute to someone else's misfortune? The men hate the women. The lesbians hate the men. The Caucasians hate the African-Amerians. The 'evangelicals' hate the Catholics. And everyone hates the lawyers. Can't we be a bit more supportive of one another? More accepting? When so many folks are hated on in real life, can't we ease off the gas a bit? Do you honestly think that society at large is going to treat us kinksters any better than it has been treating gay and lesbian folks, and those of us who love some folks but are straight? CS I would have thought you had been round long enough to get the MO of this place, we are people, there isnt unity here, we arent all the same, we dont all think the same, hell we dont even see the reason that we are here as being the same, no we wont all hug and hold hands, thats not what its like in the real world and its not what its like here. Also i dont think there are many people here who can claim to be all snuggly anyways, most have had disagreements etc, thats what makes it an opinions forum, if we all just agreed on everything then it wouldnt need to be here. Also not agreeing doesnt equal hate, men dont hate women, lesbians dont hate men and if you beleieve half of what you wrote then thats really your own issue to deal with not the problem of the human condition.

you know, I remember something similar about gays. The lexbian "penetration is patriarchy" group versus the lesbian poly queers. "No one cares if you fuck the another girl the good girl way.... You are still a damn dyke." Yeah, that was kind of shaking when I first heard it, but you know candy... same song, different verse.
