Time to be objective. Put yourself in his shoes. If you are trying to build a relationship with someone, do you go out of your way to open and expose your life to them? ...or do you hide your home and personal life giving only passing moments on the road. Do you embrace a call from the one you care about or do you screen your calls saying "I'll get back to them later, I don't have time to talk to them now."

If he's not lying to you, he sure don't sound like he gives a hoot if things progress or not. Don't be desperate or a doormate. There are far too many people out there who are probably reading this and thinking, I wouldn't treat you that way to take that kind of treatment from someone your supposed to be building a relationship with.

Personally, I be making the assessment that I'm being lied to and finding a way to allow him to shit or get off the pot...then testing the theory. The proof is in the pudding so to speak. If he leaves room for question, then it falls on him to eliminate room for doubt.

Deep down inside you somewhere you know the truth and what is right. Listen to that voice.

I think if someone is single our guts tell us & everything progresses normally.  Just the fact that he only calls during work hours should raise the red flag but not convict.

Given time when a liar lies, eventually the lies don't connect.  If you have a good memory or something you hear next doesn't sit right then you should totally back him up against the wall, so to speak and demand a response to a very exact question.

Then you have a decision to make for good or bad in relation to your morals and values.

Often we know the answer to our questions. However sometimes we just like to hear that we are on the right track from good friends or those we feel have good information to offer.

All you can do is assume until you have concrete evidence in front of your eyes.

The question isn't wheter or not he's cheating.

Is this other person worth the energy of finding out?
