MTslave, i am sorry to hear about your problems. all i can do is relate to you my own experiences as a master who has been diagnosed as clinically depressed. so please take what i say with a grain of salt.
When i get down, i do try to do things to get my mind off of it. i do talk with my sub. we talk on the phone and via messenger. like for example, tonight i was hoping to get some alone time with her, but it turned out not to be. i can understand this whole situation as she does have a 21 month old daughter and some other things going on in her life.
so despite knowing all of those things, i was a little down about the whole deal.
we talked on line for a bit and i was kind of down, but then just simply talking with her has cheered me up a bit.
she is incredibly supportive of me and i can see that you are concerned about your master as well. and i can tell that the distance seperating you from your master is very harsh. if you have the capability to send your master some sort of package, a care package if you wish to call it that, containing some of your master's favorite things, i.e. books or candies, that may cheer him up some. it is just an idea.

It is truly heart warming to see the outpouring of advice and help one can get if needed.... the advice has been wonderful and some of it even a learning tool. Thank you so very much.... all of you... who took the time to post.

Wishing all of you the best of New Years....

PS... Just a small update... I talked to Master Christmas Eve and it was wonderful. He seemed more relaxed then he has in a month and the conversation just flowed. It truly was a Christmas gift unlike any other.

I'm glad to hear Christmas eve worked out.

It's odd, but the few doms I know also tend to siffer from depression, including me. After years of failing with SSRIs, I finally entered a medical trial that worked out for me.

Besides the Skype suggestion offered earlier, take a look at OneSuite.com. Their foreign rates are very good.

Blessings to you both.
