I was just wondering what kind of music femdoms and male subs listen to (if any) during scenes.

I don't.  I find it distracting, either by being too interesting or too bland.

When I first planned a session in a hotel that did NOT have a convention going on, I consulted a Dom friend of mine for musical suggestions.  My boy was very good at downloading and bringing the recommended tunes for 'disguising' any odd noises coming from the room.  At a convention, I don't bother with it because if anyone overhears us... they pretty much giggle or yell "You Go Girl!" through the wall.

I suggest three songs for play...the first is Steve Miller's "Song for our Ancestors" off his very first CD/Album.Next up "To Live for the King" by Kerry Livgren and lastly,"The Toture Never Stops"by Zappa...and if you wish to throw in"Children of the Sea" by Black Sabbath...well go ahead.

We don't listen to anything.  For me, at least, outside noise kind of ruins the intimacy of hearing my Owner.

Okay, as I was scrolling past,  I first read Fox as saying, "the intimacy of harassing my Owner."  LOL!  Yeah, projection is fun.

I really do not like music while I play, and loud music has to be the most annoying thing at public parties.  I hear music, I want to move to it.  Sometimes that can be amusing, more often it is just disruptive.

A great song to scene to:

And a song that's a scene all in itself:

darchChylde,

I will forever be in the "wrong" state of mind when I hear "It's a Small World".  Gone are old memories of visiting Disney as a child and then taking my kids...  LOL, I see it as relevant in a whole different way.  I just added to my play list.  Evil... non-Disney thoughts abound!

BTW, I added the other one too.  *wink*

By the way, i think the song in my siggie would be nice for a warm-up; or just a way to let your prey know what's on your mind.

edited to add:  As far as "Small World" goes, be thankful I didn't link you to this...

Evil... non-Disney thoughts abound!

This implies that thoughts about Disney-related things are not already irredeemably evil. ;)

Um, songs, songs...Some of my faves:
Discipline, Nine Inch Nails
Coin Operated Boy, Dresden Dolls
Pretty much anything by Lords of Acid
Pretty When You Cry, VAST

The Johnny Cash version of HURT.
The Torture Never Stops, Zappa etc
...there's lots, actually.  Now what is fun if you can do it, is to set your mix up on headphones, so he has to listen to the music, while I get to listen to HIM.

The music is somewhat activity driven but much of what I play is world fusion (Buddha Bar type stuff) or sexy gothic/industrial (Delirium).

Cheers,

Apocalyptica.

Dang, there's a lot, isn't there.  This explains why no one is ever happy with the club music.

YANNI?  No, I am not snickering, believe me.

I generally use belly-dance music at a medium-soft level.  The percussion is great to do thumpy things to and it keeps the neighbours from getting curious about what's going on next door, but isn't loud enough to attract any complaints.

Does it muffle the screaming, though?

Screaming?  What screaming?  That's why they invented gags.

Bah.  A gag only muffles their COMPLAINTS.
