ORIGINAL: slavegirljoy i don't see why anyone would need someone else to "sell" them into slavery. Why not just offer yourself as being available to become another's slave, for however long and under whatever conditions you choose? You raise a good point. In some cases, such as yours, there is no real "advantage" to doing so. In some cases, being sold is the crux of a fantasy, and thus is in itself a reward. The best "case" for this, however, that I am personally aware of was a private group I once knew. Slaves were members of this group, and sold only to other members of the group. The group took care of a variety of important details. For example, they handled the money, ensuring the slave was insured as stipulated, that they did get the funds due at the end of their contract, and that various other rules were observed. This included situations where if a slave failed to perform as they agreed, money was refunded. If the slave could not complete the contract for some other reason (such as illness for example), there would be a pro-rated refund. The group, in essence, attempted to protect the "rights" of all parties involved... keep everyone honest as it were. It worked for them. They did not do lifetime contracts, btw. If a slave found someone they wanted to be with long term, that was entirely a private arrangement with no money or auction involved.
