ORIGINAL: world4penelope I'm considering taking on a couple of new full time live-in slaves. What requirements do you have for accepting new live-in slaves? What is the regimen for new supplicants before allowing them into your private world? Regards, Mistress Penelope St. Devi We have an extensive probationary period, and for the most part, our probationary servants are required to keep their own domicile and serve in progressively increasing increments before we accept them as full-time, in-house servants. The vetting process, for us, is long and drawn out, but basically amounts to making sure, over time, that they're really ready for the intensity of full-time, in-house service. The other thing that is a consideration for us is whether or not we can -afford- full-time, live-in, dependent servants. How will we manage health insurance, food, shelter, clothing, uniforms, training tools, body-fluid-personalized toys and equipment, collars, etc.? How will we plan in case something happens to us or this person chooses to return to life outside the House? What other contingencies will need to be in place, and does this person have any special needs that have to be addressed if we bring them into full-time, live-in status. Right now, we're not keeping -any- live-in servants because of the 'contingencies' aspects... there are things going on in our lives that make having live-in servants impractical if not impossible, and until those are resolved, we will not take on the responsibility for the equivalent of another dependent.
