Hello,
I did a search and could only find a few cursory mentions of the Kindle here so I wanted to start this thread. I have been fascinated by the idea of it since I saw it advertised on amazon.com. I love reading actual, hold-em-in-my hands books so much but this thing is amazing. I have entertained the idea off and on of maybe thinking about getting one

Bottom line is, yesterday Master had the day off and was shopping around on the site and saw where I had it on my wish list. He asked me last night if I really, really did want one because with Christmas coming up and there being a 3-4 week wait to receive one, if so He needed to know soon. I really mulled it over as to whether or not I would truly use it and carefully considered it due to the cost and I just kept telling Him it's up to Him (well, isn't everything around here?

).

Bottom line is He ordered me one

. I'm really excited and can't wait to get started. I was wondering if anyone here actually owns one and what the pros and cons of it have been. I don't mean the whole philosophical argument of paper books -vs- onscreen ones. I'm talking actual nuts and bolts type operation. What do you love about it? What isn't so great? I'd love any feedback. Thanks!
