ORIGINAL: aidan WALL-E Yeah, you heard me. Mistress and I rented the new Pixar movie today, expecting a sweet and fun family story, as per their excellent track record. We got that, no doubt, but I was surprised at the subtle (and I'm sure unintentional) D/s undertones to the movie. It's the story of a scruffy little dude, kind of goofy and a little (read: lot) neurotic after being on his lonesome after a few hundred years. One day he meets a beautiful woman (robot...lady...look, it's decidedly female-gendered) who's strong, intelligent, dedicated and could kill him with one shot from her mighty laser beam. He tries his best in a goofy awkward way to impress her, wins her over with his quirky charm, and follows her across the damn universe to prove his undying loyalty and affection to her. I won't spoil for people who haven't seen it yet, but pay attention the reversal of traditional male/female roles in the action climax. So far all those looking for a good interpretation of Femdom D/s in media, look no further! It's in an adorable Disney movie about space robots. ^__^ I certainly agree with you on that, aidan. Mistress and I saw it in a theater and we both loved it. Poor Wall-E went through a lot of crap for his robotic domme Mistress and I both agree that Eva kicks ass!!!
