oh my! Inanimate objects...I guess thats the way lazy dominants go. How hard is it to dominate a vacuum cleaner? You just plug it in and turn it on, push it around a bit. Well, when I put it that way its not too much different from dominating a person...lol!

I don't care too much for mistress because of all the associated connotations, so prefer Ma'am, or my name. I understand and give people a break at first introduction usually, especially if they're smart enough to avoid honey and sweetie. [&:] M

I must admit I wish dominas wouldn't leave the whole title thing entirely to subs, especially if the subs in question aren't experienced. It isn't always obvious what's appropriate and what isn't, even for brilliantly perceptive, intuitive and sensitive newbie subs such as myself.

It means "thanks!" or "goodbye!", depending on context. Originally - and still, for some people - it means "your good health" or similar when drinks are about to be drunk.

I don't mind being called Mistress once I own the slave. That is when it is okay. But it is not My first choice. Mistress is okay, but most often I just use the Ms. (or M Miss) and My given name. In fact, when I am in explorations with a potential and I have gotten that far, they can begin referring to Me by that title since I don't feel I have to own someone to have them refer to Me as Ms <insert name here>. MzPam's boys, as well as a few others, automatically address Me in that way.
