Master D - if you break your essays up into paragraphs, they would be a lot easier to read. [:)]

colouredin -> RE: THE SUCCESFUL MASTER (11/23/2008 4:26:58 PM)

TBH I think he just posts them and doesnt bother reading the responsesw, people have said on everyone of his threads that its bloody hard to read, i doubt it will make one jot of differance

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: THE SUCCESFUL MASTER (11/23/2008 4:40:48 PM)

Yes, I sincerely doubt he cares what any one of us thinks. His thoughts are obviously, the only ones that count.

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: THE SUCCESFUL MASTER (11/23/2008 4:51:15 PM)

To be fair to the OP, I did a test for plagiarism, and only came up with his blog on bondage.com.  I'll run my own writing through it, before submitting it, and find the tool useful.  I know his copy and paste essay reads like a stolen novel, but nothing came up to substantiate the first impression many of us picked up on.

Eh... here's my essay on The Successful Master.

The Successful Master is easily recognized by their happy grin, indicating they have what they want, how they want and when they wanted it.

The End.

And that IS a really awesome tree you have. [:D]

Authoratative, whiny, provocative VANILLA CONE OPs.

Agreed.  These are his journal entries...Not debate or discussion.  I read each of his posts and I think it would have been so much better if he had simply started each with "in my opinion" instead of trying to post them as enlightened text.

Also, the "child-like" view he implies in reference to subs, imo, is a bit too condescending for my taste.

Found the site it came from. No way to know if it's his site or not.

Sounds like he found exactly what to write to attract online submissives.

Well, they're both black, and they both have a mustache.  Other than that, doesn't look like the same person, althought it's difficult to say being that there appears to be at least a 50 pound, to perhaps 100 pound difference in the two photos.

Rutroh....I thought it odd that someone could be so verbose on the overall subject matter, and misspell two of his three post titles.

Evidently he (or David C if it's someone else) has been a prolific writer.  And while each of the articles is written in a manner that makes reading them quite a chore, I did manage to find this little gem:

quote:

I strongly feel that a good and true dominant should have a strong sense of honor, love, and responsibility to his or her submissive to spill her endorphins whenever possible, but seriously, his or her submissive should become the center of his or her attention and the soul of his or her very existence.

I find this wrong on so many levels that if I get started listing them I'll miss my bedtime.

Rover -> RE: THE SUCCESFUL MASTER (11/23/2008 8:53:08 PM)

Or how about this one....

quote:

Sadomasochism has been called "power exchange sexuality," signifying that the submissive partner gives up all personal power to the dominant.  The dominant partner accepts this gift and, in exchange, assumes power over and responsibility for the well-being of the submissive for whatever period of time they have negotiated.

And here I thought a sadomasochist derived pleasure from both inflicting and receiving pain and doesn't require any power exchange at all.  Silly me.

Actually, I can substantiate beyond any doubt that he is a plagiarist.  This essay of "his" has entire sentences and paragraphs lifted verbatim from an article of mine, written in 2001:
