I received a 24 hour ban today. It was the automated system, because of multiple reports on my account. Thing is, I am pretty sure, all these reports came from one person, although he probably has multiple accounts to report me with. I wont say his name here, because I am pretty sure that's against the TOS to do. My concern is, if he keeps doing this, who can I get help from? Is there an administrator who can look into this? I got my notice of a ban at 6:15PM EST Nov 24th. At 6:14PM EST, one minute before the ban, this is the letter the man sent me... "People really Dont give a shit about your life story or all the frigging bs in your profile or anyone elses for that matter.Every one here is here for KINK AND SEX so get use to it or go back to myspace where you came from." He is upset because my blogs aren't just about sex. I actually talked about me, and what my hobbies are, and what I want out of CM. I didn't just use adjectives to describe sex, and this upset him. This guy's only prior contact with me was when he messaged me and said "Do you drink piss" to which I replied "No". That's it. And for this, the guy is reporting me. My issue is, I wrote a lot of blogs, I hade several pages of journal entries, talking about my CM experience. While my account is banned, I can't get to them, to copy them. I'm worried I'm going to lose them. Any suggestions? xoxo ~Sara~

I should add, the man immediately blocked me, so I couldn't reply to his message. Then I received the news about the ban. I'm kind of sad now :(.

Sorry to hear that Sara, but the moderators for the forums don't have any authority over the profile stuff. I'm not entirely sure who you should contact.

You can report the messages he sent you. They might be able to get rid of the guy that way. Unfortunately trolls have a tendency to keep making new profiles and finding their way back into sites like this if they are bored enough (or whatever their motivations is)

Nothing major to worry about, the ban will come off and you can go back to normal. On the good hand, I dont think someone can report you more than once, so no matter how many accounts he has, once he gets you gone once he is done bugging you. Second, we all get ti at some point. I was banned not long ago, because I say no to a lot of subs. No big deal, i waited it out and go back to normal. DV

I understand that they'll still be there, but what's to stop this guy from immediately reporting me again, and again, and again. It's an automated system, so it seems like there's no safety measure to keep him from doing that. xoxo ~Sara~

Heh... I get banned a lot. Nothing to worry about, and it doesn't ever seem to go longer than a day. (I think) I did ask the mods to look over my profile and see if there was anything wrong with it, they agreed it was fine and I haven't been banned again since.

No, people got pissy about "ZOMG PRO!! BANHAMMER GOGOGO!!" I don't advertise. It was just mentioned in the profile. [8\|] I also have a large, hairy, elderly male lesbian (Who claims to be bill gates on occasion) who tells me he is reporting me at least once a week. I don't block him because he's good for the "Eye roll" thread. [:D]

Sara, I have found the site admins to be actual human beings - so I am sure they will listen to you. When they suspend you, they do not destroy your profile though, unless you had information in it like external contact links and such. You are not going to please everyone with your profile and your blogs. The best you can do is speak about yourself in a way that lets people know who you are and what you're about. Not everyone is gonna dig it. I wonder about people who think everyone else is here to please only them. I'm here to please myself. That's it. I bet you're here for the same reason.

From what I've seen, Sara has a fairly honest profile... bit quirky... but quirky is good. Unfortunately, some people don't handle being told "No" very well... not that I have to explain that. It'll all get sorted out eventually I suppose.

Thanks Padriag :) You've actually seen my profile, read my journal entries and such. I don't think there's anything in there that's a violation on TOS. No contact info, no links, no bashing of anyone else specifically. Nothing really offensive. Just stuff about why I'm on CM. Hopefully it will all be okay. xoxo ~Sara~

Being an ex-mod at another forum, and having discussed the software platform with Mod 16 here when discussing how to prevent picture posting, I would comment that “automated banning” is not a feature I think they have on collarme. I am pretty sure a mod received a report, reviewed it and banned you.
