I'm in a top 3 guild on my server, just don't feel like playing. Only motivation to play at all is for the new arena season.

The endless gear grind is what keeps us all addicted.  I played all 170+ end game quests back when WoW capped at 60 and the gear grind kept me going.  When tha cap raised to 70, I capped 2 of my 9 level 60s before I had to focus on work again.  Now when I do come back again, I can get the older season gear for almost nothing.   Gotta' love the gear grind!!!

I hear AoC didn't do so well.  If you have account time left, there are some good bot info threads at http://mmoglider.com/.  Also a bot for Warhammer.  At least with a bot you can pharm up some gear and sell the accounts or give capped and geared toons to friends as Christmas gifts.

Status: offline 		My one buddy runs the AH for gems on our server. Well did at least, he used Glider on one of his alt accounts and loved it. I'm debating trying it, fuck leveling...but I couldn't lose my account.

The validity of your words has just taken a big dive bro.  A shard is used by the warlock class only and has nothing to do with play time.  At first I thought you were a noob that “capped and bailed” but now I see you never even played WoW…. LMAO.   There is no way to get through 70 levels of playing any class and not learn what a shard is or how the mechanics of play time and your accounts work.

Dude, one man can’t “beat” anything in WoW and it takes a 40 man RAID to “beat” a boss in original version and a 25 man RAID to “beat” a boss in the BC expansion.  I say that you and your comments are a complete fabrication.

Glider is an awesome tool.  You shouldn’t use a main account.  Like your buddy, start an alt account.  Make sure none of the billing info is the same as your main account because if you do get the ban stick, they also whack the associated accounts with same billing info.  After you get the hang of it, you may make some accounts with the same names but different addresses and billing info.  That way you can migrate toons off the botting accounts after you cap them. 

Common practice is to roll 2 accounts.  One with your mains, the other just for pharming.  On the Glider forums I am a former mod and was known as “OWM”, originator of Team OWM and the official Glider Guild.  Mercury, the dev and owner of Glider was in my guild with another collarme forum member named Lucivar.  You will find my profiles, strats and guides on those forums.

I'm talking about UO shards. shards are like free servers in a game called ultima online. it was the original mmo. ffa pvp, full loot, etc.

I did play WoW for a few years. I played on Illidan. the game died around TBC.

Status: offline 		I was not happy with the crap Blizzard put people through before the expansion actually released. I, grudgingly bought the expansion because a couple of the people I invited to the game accused me of "abondoning" them (I told them: "You're 40, already! MOVE OUT!" LOL!).
 
I have not been excessively over-joyed. I'm fairly underwhelmed. I guess it's difficult to come up with new ideas and to make anything different when, essentially, all you're doing (as a player) is pushing buttons.
 
(The Death Knights DO rock, though)
 
Remember: You can "roll a rogue", "make a mage", "win with a warrior", "play a paladin", "help with a hunter",  but, you can only "ROCK a 'lock"!

its a program that lets you automate actions in wow. if your caught using it you tend to get banned by blizz. I wouldnt use it on my main account if I was you :)

New expansion has been great for me as I dont have the time to raid with My guild so I mostly solo and do the odd 5 man.
I play for the company rather than to even try to 'beat' the game, but having said that, I have seen all the vanilla wow bosses apart from c'thun.
The change to 25 man from 40 man curtailed my late night 'ninja invites' to raids and made only karazan viable for Me to see.

Im hoping the new 10 man raid sizes may mean I can get some more content seen. all in all its been a fairly nice expansion so far (still l72 so a long way to go yet!)

A few questions.

ResidentSadist did you do the AQ scepter questline?

Variation30, Im trying to imagine what accomplishments would get you mentioned in those places? care to name your toon or guild? :)

Status: offline 		I see people asking about Glider.  Being I helped out a little bit with that project, I was the first one to bot a party in an instance and the first one to etc, etc, let me tell what Glider did for me.   I played the game and leveled 2 toons by hand.  I played all 170+ end game quest (before TBC).  I wanted to test builds against each to create the strongest one but I sure didn’t want to go through leveling all those toons. 

I got several accounts, used the Glider bot to level toons of the same class, then PvPed the different builds against each other to find the strongest.   These studies helped develop successful build strats that stood true until WotLK expansion.  Glider leveled all but 3 of these toons and I still have 9 of them spread out over 4 accounts.   LOL

--Lvl 70s
Shammy – draenei – lvl 70 (hybrid)
Warlock – human – lvl 70 (destruction/fire)
Priest – human – lvl 70 (shadow)

--lvl 60s
Warrior – human – lvl 65 (arms)
Priest – dwarf – lvl 60 (holy)
Priest – human – lvl 60 (shadow)
Warlock – human – lvl 60 (destruction/fire)
Warlock – human – lvl 60 (destruction/shadow)

i do not know about the Alliance version of the kinky guild at this point. The true members of the kinky guild on Horde side satyed on Moonrunner but changed guild names and ventured on for the sake of the members who were serious about it.You can find us under The Solitary Horde
