You can't run from terrorists--they will seek you out wherever you are. You can't hide from terrorists--they will seek you out in your home. You can't reason with terrorists--they desire death (theirs and as many innocents as possible). What's left but to face them, fight them, and kill them? I did not put the guns in their hands. I do mean to be among those prying said guns from the terrorists' cold dead fingers--metaphorically in all likelihood, literally if circumstances warrant.
