Hello All! Here is hoping everyone has been having a good year cause it's almost done! My situation is greatly the same. I don't have much new to add so I just read your posts. :-) Can't decide if I'm the ghost of Past, Present or Future. But here I am.:-) Peace and hope that everyone is well. TnC

It's only been December for three hours in My time zone, so I'll just contribute a bit. This hasn't been the easiest month for Me, but one of the harder parts is coming to a close. My husband will be home on leave from Korea in less than three weeks! There is even a hope that clip can be here during that time, too, so we can be a family again! To have both of My males here with Me again would be so wonderful for Me. It would make every trial so worth it. Just thinking about the family reunited does My heart so much good. I'll add more later, after some other folks have chimed in.

Month, hell. It's been an interesting year! Got on my domina bicycle and began riding it about this time last year, y'see. And it's being a heckuva ride, too. The good part is the three wonderful subs I get to play with, and the sucky part is the one of them that's only in town a coupla times a year, and I'd really love for him to get a more frequent schedule in this part of the world as a year-end present this winter! Regardless, I'm enjoying my kinks, and learning new techniques, and making progress on most fronts with and without a perfect world. Y'all come back, now, hear? Lady Delilah Deb

1st December is such an important date - my birthday, on which I am 39 today for the 3rd time in a row! December is going to suck, big time. I have my 2ic at work off ill so I have to cover for him, business is down about 25% with the sole consolation that its the same for everyone, the pound has dropped another 5% making us even less competitive in an already difficult market, and of course creditors will be taking their usual unofficial payment holiday this month. And my single tail still hasnt arrived, Mr Tella! E

This month looks like its going to be the same as last month unfortunately. Business is not good right now so we've had to tighten the budget around here. On the upside college classes are going extremely well and my kitten is growing like a weed and is cute as a button. My um is graduating next year so that makes me happy that she will soon be going off to college, once that happens my sub maybe moving in with me. We will have to see how it goes. ~Lashra

Things are still the same here as well..just a different month.I have a cousin who has about 4 weeks to live with cancer now spreading to his bones.We were like two main spokes on a wheel.We did everything together when we were younger..but he has been in California the past 30 years.It's a tough time reflecting and all but i'll get through it.I have friends here that will see to that.

December is going to entail mad studying for finals and stressing over the budget when my fiance gets laid off. It's also going to see my return to searching for a sub. I released the last girl when I found out she'd been lying to me (and a dozen other people, most of whom are on CM) about a number of very important issues. Frustrating, but I'll live. Since I got a new friend out of the deal, I can't complain too much.

19 days until my 13 day vacation begins! Woohoo! Thank you UT Knoxville, suckers! :-p Tomorrow's payday and the Christmas shopping will begin. Fortunately I already have Mistress' present (which I can't wait to give her, I know she'll love it, squee!) ^__^ And hoping I get my acceptance letter from UT soon. Umm...I take back that whole "suckers" thing. Totally. >_>

Wow, it's the end of the year already. I have -no- idea how that happened. November was a bust on the personal end for me. I missed deadline on my novel by =miles= (translating word-count to miles, I missed by 41,000 miles or so... that's almost two times around the world!!!) I may be able to make it up in December, but it's unlikely -- it seems like the paying job is sucking out my soul right now. Everyone is cramming to get their stuff done by the end of the year, with the knowledge that the last 2 weeks of the month aren't going to be good for diddly-squat.... so here we are, and my creativity is flushed down the loo. On a bright note, we have our tree already -- I don't do any of the traditional holiday stuff except holiday baking and the tree... but if you want to take the tree, with it's pretty lights, away from me, you're going to have to pry the bugger out of my cold, dead fingers. We got a beautiful blue fir, and it smells divine in our flat. This is our first year in a decade with a real tree... they're asking folks to get real trees this year, and then donate them, after the fact, to reduce beach erosion, since, after Ike, the beaches in Galveston are pretty much non-existent. We're mostly healthy, working, and have a decent place to live and good food to eat... so we had a lot to be grateful for this year, and we're actually looking forward to seeing what comes our way next.

I swear I thought we were just bringing in this year - and here it is getting ready to leave us. My second winter now in South Carolina, and it has been as cold here as it was up north - brrr. This Friday we are expecting a nice turnout for our local munch and hopefully this weekend, drag some of those holiday boxes down from the attic and make it festive around here. Happy December!

*December!! My favorite month!!* *I love the snow, I love the holidays, I love the cold weather!! And my birthday is coming up. I can't believe I'm damn near 51... ACK!!* Anyway... no serious contenders vying for a spot at my feet... bummer... but that's ok. I've been sooo busy. It's another homemade Christmas this year. Only this time I played it a little smarter. See, last year I made all of my kids, grandkids, my siblings and my neices and nephews quilts for Christmas... 17... is that a record? Anyway, this year I'm making everyone flannel jammies and or nightgowns. Only this year I'm including the ladies in our small neighborhood. Every year we have all of our neighbors over for Christmas Eve since most of them are pretty much alone for the holidays and make it a point to have stuff for them to open under our tree. And don't go spreading that around... ok? Wouldn't want the badass biker rep ruined or anything like that. And I'm expecting a new grand sapling sometime in Feb.... I told my son that he really.... REALLY... deserves a boy!! (he has two girls now) Especially one born around the same time as his birthday... it's called Karma... lmao *It's snowing here today... finally!! And I'm lovin' it.* *Jewel*

I am finishing writing a report on the research I've done these last several months. Lots of fun, that is. It'll be more than worth it if I get into Nature or Cell though. Hmm, and I'll be returning to the states in time for christmas too. I'm excited to see all of my friends and family, and particularly my girlfriend. And then start school! And hopefully watch UF kickass in the national championships (though that's in January..).

Happy Birthday, Lady Ellen and sleuthingsub! It is winter, I am gearing up for my seventeenth tax season, and it is just messing with my mind! Why, when the sixteenth season did not, I am not sure. I'm looking forward to winter in my little cave, though! There have been some management shakeups, and bad policy changes, but since this is my last full time tax season with this company, I have senioritis and am smiling benignly. [;)] On other fronts, the Parrot is persona non grata with my parents, after performing a temporary ear piercing on my dad. [&:] He has been somewhat hormonal since he turned 10, what can I say? I am still alone, and not happy about it, in spite of my lovely friends and a potential minion or two. The Cleaning Project putters along by fits and starts. I keep saying to myself "Pretend you are moving into a trailer", and it is NOT working, I just visualize a trailer packed with neatly labelled boxes. Does knitted-up yarn take up less space than giant hanks? The highlight of the month will be five days in Fort Lauderdale that will mean that I miss ALL family gatherings! I spent Thanksgiving at home in bed sick, so this is really the pinnacle of awesomeness for me. I despise the holiday season (except for giving gifts, which I adore) and the less time spent in mind numbingly boring house parties, the better. I am becoming so evil, it is sad. My extended family is made up of lovely people who are very pleasant company, it is not a hardship to visit with them for say, an hour or so. But they are not my FRIENDS, and year after year I have to give up on events with those that I really care about for the sake of some folks who just happen to be relations. Hm, I sound cranky. And I just had pizza, so wtf? Oh, well! [:)]

Last month had our whole lives turning around and major changes. Now we are in the new place and I have a few more projects than I had planned... like needing to gut the kitchen. But being here was the best move for us. My son (adult) even spoke two sentences the first day we were here, proving he was where he wanted to be. He has even eaten in front of people on Thanksgiving, which was amazing. I am getting lots of grandma time in with some very aware, intelligent lil one's and I am trying to remember if mine were that smart and on top of things. Anyway, if humor is good for your health, I am getting a big dose of it! They break me when they come for long stays, but it is a worthwhile broken! Also having fun watching my up and coming domme in waiting of a daughter and her almost submissive husband! ROFL... they are a crack up to watch! For someone who didn't intend to work the d/s dynamic's... they have got it goin on! I may even learn a thing or two from her! lol Now, if I can just find me one of those... with tools of course... our lil happy home might just come together!

December is such a crazy time for me. I will be on the road for work starting on the 3rd and going all the way up to Christmas eve. Scranton, Nashville, Chicago, Saint Louis, and Berlin. I will be happy to just sit home over the holidays and enjoy a nice bottle of wine and listen to the logs on the fire pop and crack while taking in a good book.

Things are going quite beautifully for us. My Owner and I finally announced our engagement to my family, and it was a rousing success. We've been taking some tremendous photography as of late, and we've been cementing stronger relationships with our close friends. For December, things should be very happy...but also -very- busy(we both work retail). Busy is good, however. I have high hopes for this month, with our brand new Christmas Tree and Stockings already up... It really is the most wonderful time of the year. I'm very happy and I love my Owner very much. Not much has changed for me. I am one of the lucky ones that still has a job. I have watched friends and others lose their jobs lately. It is not a good thing to see. I am not a big christmas person. So December is just another month for me. My lil one is doing better each day and hopefully with continue to grow healthier each day. Perhaps 2009 will be the year that we combine households. We shall just have to wait and see.

It's December? Already? Damn. Well, my little one just turned 8 and we are exploring the world of hair straightening. FUN! I have loved every age, but as she's growing and developing her own brand of uniqueness she is just more fun every day. We are currently debating the usefulness of a cell phone at the age of 8. Of course, I will win in the end, but it's important for her to be heard. My new position is going well, and I am enjoying everything that goes with it. I have been talking with a few submissives, and even had one come to visit for a weekend. But I've yet to meet one that really has the basics of what I want in a man. I'm enjoying being semi-single and I'm having a lot of fun, so I'm in no big rush. He will come along. I'm with you on the holiday stuff, Lady H. I have successfully avoided my family for 18 years on Thanksgiving, and I'm working on my 4th year in a row of avoiding them at Christmas. They are wonderful people, I just don't want to be in the same room with all of them for more than an hour. I prefer my family of choice, friends are far more fun! The tree is going up next weekend, and I will start making candies the weekend after that. MMMMM Christmas candy! Best wishes to all!

This month I'll be continuing my plans of moving out of state to be with my sub. Things have been a complete whirlwind of activity between us the past three months and it's kind of mind boggling to sit still and realize that I love him and want to be with him. This month I'll be making some new resolutions for 2009. Healthier eating habits, healthier relationships, working on my mental happiness. I'm all about self improvement. Hopefully this month I can start putting out feelers for a local community in GA and my attempts will be successful. We'll see.
