I listen to music while working.....I work as a police dispatcher, which means being on a radio......with 4 different channels on a console on a counter.

I was working on putting some paperwork together for an officer.....stapled the corners all nice and neat....put said stapler down on the counter by the radio.  Meatloaf's "paradise by the dashboard light" came up on the puter.....I'm sitting...ok, dancing around, .......singin' my little heart out, and the phone rings....I turn the music down, answer the phone to find one of the assistants on it, asking me if I'm hearing the guys on the radio....I look over, the stapler is sitting on the transmit buttons for channels 2 and 3, the little red "XMIT" lights are lit.......HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!  I knock the stapler over, answer the guys and do my thing.  When the officers were done, I called one of them and begged him to tell me he couldn't hear me singing!  Thank God, it didn't go out over the radio....probably because both buttons were pushed....OMG!!!!  I would have NEVER lived that down.....there's a reason I sing in the shower, and ONLY the shower!  And if they ever install a camera in the radio room, I'm so screwed...I dance about as well as I sing!
