Hmm, a good question.

The ideal dress code is nothing. However, if it is necessary, any female I claim as mine is to adhere to a certain dress code; namely, they are to wear skirts or dresses at all times (when they are allowed to wear anything at all). I prohibit jeans, slacks, sneakers and any other bland garb of androgyny. I don't let them wear panties, either, except when they are having their periods.

Generally speaking, I don't allow my females wearing anything at all. An ideal girl is to be available at all times. Only in cases where they must don clothing in order to interact with the outside world do I enforce the above rules.

I've never been overly managerial when it comes to Helena's dress. I generally like her choice of outfits and she dresses nicely most of the time. She has a sophisticated sense of style that I like.

However, there was one time that she dared present herself in a denim shirt and skirt. That was a serious no-no. I cut that outfit up into managable ribbons and still use some of those stips on her to this day.

Absolutely. One of the first things I plan on doing when I accept My slave is go through his wardrobe RUTHLESSLY! Anything I don't like will be given away, burned, or put in the "to be worn while fixing the car, cleaning the fire place and other jobs that you are never to wear nice clothes doing" pile. The very next thing will be to take him shopping. Department stores, watch out! He'll model trousers and jeans, shirts and sweaters, suits and jackets.... while I figure out his best colors and the "Look" that I like best on him.... with him footing the bill, of course <g> Every day, I'll choose his clothing appropriate to what he/we are doing doing... work, going out, relaxing at home. I'll roll up his sleeves or tuck in his shirt as I please, add or take away a tie or a sweater, button or unbutton his shirt, change the belt, the shoes. I'll find how I like his hair best, and he'll be required to cut it or grow it to the length I prefer, to style it if appropriate. I'll pick his jewelry (if any), his shoes, his hats, his aftershave/cologne. His hands, of course, will be very nice from all the massages and lotion rubbing he'll be doing for me <laugh> but I'll have him keep his nails manicured as well. There's not a detail that will escape me.

As you can probably guess, I"m into TPE :)

Hello, Ethne. You could more correctly say, it's part of my planning. As I've mentioned elsewhere on the forums, this will be my first r/l 24/7 slave, to do with as I please. Therefore, no, I have not actually done it... but it's also more than mere daydreaming. While I still have a lot to learn, at the same time I know what I want, and with regards to clothing... the last time I saw a velour sweater I have gifted a man with, all black and greasy from having been worn while fixing cars, will have been the LAST time such happens! LOL.

I can't say how long it will be before this becomes a reality. I am taking my time, wishing to find the right slave, rather than just any.

We do have a dress code for those collared to us. However, it still leaves a lot of leeway for a submissive to express their own style. We do appreciate variety. And yes, like someone mentioned above, the ideal dress to us for a slave is nude, collar, and other jewelry, however it seems that is not well accepted by the general public, grinz.

A fact of vanilla life is that most women don't dress for their men… they dress to impress other women. One of the lifestyle changes for a sub is to learn what Master likes and please him, which pleases her. Thus, an iron hand is seldom necessary.

That said, I prefer subtlety in public, and it appears that others may as well, judging from the white blouse / black skirt mentioned above. An exception might be an evening out where a plunging neckline gives Master free access.

At home, I definitely like beautiful breasts exposed and often full nudity. That's not always realistic, but it's a goal. It's also appreciated when my sub or slavette dons her collar from time to time without being asked.

I recognize that not all women look terrific in short skirts just as not all guys look good in shorts, and both the sub and her dom should be guided accordingly. The one thing I won't tolerate is anything unfeminine, unless she curls up in one of my shirts, and not much else.

A word about makeup: Most women could do with less makeup. Trust yourselves: Your skin can be beautiful without powders and pancake. Go lightly with eye makeup unless you have serious need.

Avoid outlining your lips with a heavy black line– it can sometimes resemble a mustache. When in a professional environment, lipstick should be restrained, but in private, your glossy red lips can suggest what you wish to do with your man.

Hmmm, there we go with the generalizations again, chuckles. I have never dressed to impress or please another woman (well, unless you want to count when I was a child, so I could keep Mom happy, lol). I have always either dressed to please myself....then later to please my Master/Husband. (Our tastes are the same, maybe I wear jeans a little less now.)

Not such an unreasonable generalisation, IMO.

Frankly, I think most women are very conscious of what's in vogue and surely they're not looking to impress or attract men with some of those horrid "fashions" - a flashback to balloon dresses comes to mind here....

As far as I'm concerned, a mini-skirt (for eg) could be a fashion that's a decade past, yet most straight men will still enjoy the look because of what it highlights. But I know what a fashion-conscious female will probably think and the name's she'll call the wearer.

I've never understood what the all the fuss is about when they run footage of some fashion show on the evening News - especially considering how utterly atrocious the majority of designs are!

Fact is, I and the majority of red-blooded men quite like the female form and that's how I'll have my girl dress. It doesn't have to be the extremes of mini-skirts or plunging necklines etc all the time or even most of the time; but it IS important to me that she looks and dresses to my ideals of *feminine*, and appropriate for the occasion.

Me, I like to see her in body-hugging T-shirt or singlet style tops and I like both the look of shortish skirts or butt defining jeans etc. And cocktail dresses are a whole other wonderful dimension.... But I loathe those baggy, shapeless dresses or trousers that hang like curtins. The female form is timeless - I couldn't care less what the current alleged fashion is.... But too many women do!
Focus.

Women are actually rarely given good tutelage over clothing as they grow up AND combined with their self-image issues...the result you get is usually very wrong. Or worse- so many women who get stuck in the one era that DID work for them.

The reality is that the classics never die. Trends come and go, and it can be nice to have a piece or two to work WITH your existing wardrobe, but what matters is being aware of your body, what works with it and what doesn't and knowing how to put things together to accenuate the best in you. And that takes time and effort to learn.

Clothes--I start with underwear--the person who invented boxers should be hung in them,

I love boxers they allow me the casual feel up of my bf when ever I wish and they have the added afordability of the peep hole with out taking them down which makes it easy to axcess quickly with out lots of on and off action.

For instance, sitting in a chair with him standing up I can have my hand up the back of his shorts and his other shorts an be fondling him and nobody in front of us will know that, now I don't do that in public only at home lol but still nobodies are that my hands are up his shorts just us.

no longer allowed to wear anything black because that was a Dom color

No offense but black being a dom color just sounds silly and insecure to me, Black is supposed to be slimming and very fashionable all though in my opnion wearing black just makes someone look shapeless and drab. I highly doubt colors can be classified as dominant or submissive, unless you want to go by feminin terms then pinks and stuff are girlie and blacks are not.

It's just like in highschool they claimed red green and blue were gang colors and you were gang affiliated cause crypts, bloods, and nordanels and stuff made those colors their insignia.

My slaves dress to please me and themselves.....if there is something special I want, I will tell them, if not, they chose what they think will please me.....oh, and by the way, there are, to my thinking, proper places for certain dress as well as improper places....a slave of mine learns this and NEVER embarrases me or themselves.

my attire has frequently been chosen for me, and is usually pretty much the same: skirts or dresses (sometimes shorter than other times), stockings, heels, and no bra. panties may be optional and of varied styles. i've not been limited to colour, and like LA, i know what can be done with a little black dress, so i've shorter and longer and to the floor length black silk dresses that are very feminine and timeless. a girl has to have something nice to wear for formal occasions. i also have formal and every day attire in varied colours other than black--i wore black for years while dancing, so it's not my first choice when going out casually. i don't wear jeans anyway, but i recently bought a pair of warmish pants for going to the cold. it's not easy finding wool skirts in southern california anymore. i know what looks good on me and what plays up my better features.
