My mom would sure be happier if I dressed to impress others than dressing to please myself, She wants me to be one of these people wh*o're always interested in what the fashion is now and the shoes match the purse an the purse matches the hair and ect ect. And I just don't give a rats ass about what society thinks is fashionable. Most the shit is atrocious like Focus50 said,

And on a personal note I think peddle pushers and halfsie pants that are coming back now are retarded, they look like you out grew your pants and were to poor to buy new ones.

Got that right.

When I used to visit Seattle's Catwalk Club, I alway wore WHITE, head to toe.

Once, I even wore my leather Mickey Mouse jacket. (laughing)

Ya know, one of the best things about CollarChat is finding out other Doms that have a sense of humor.

The female form is timeless - I couldn't care less what the current alleged fashion is.... But too many women do!
Focus.

Women are actually rarely given good tutelage over clothing as they grow up AND combined with their self-image issues...the result you get is usually very wrong. Or worse- so many women who get stuck in the one era that DID work for them.

The reality is that the classics never die. Trends come and go, and it can be nice to have a piece or two to work WITH your existing wardrobe, but what matters is being aware of your body, what works with it and what doesn't and knowing how to put things together to accenuate the best in you. And that takes time and effort to learn.

Yes, classics, good description!

And I should've added that my idea of "feminine" still needs to make allowances for her physical form, too! And age - a cute teen in a mini or whatever may look hot but that's not to say I'd have my 40yo sub dress in a mini if it didn't suit her; in public or private.

Focus.

Actually, I read that as meaning black is *her* Dom's colour, which is an important distinction for her and their relationship.
