More likely, they will tell you that there are rules for being a member of this system. You want to use this system, you play by the rules set forth by the mods/admins. This system is *not* any governing body for the "lifestyle." These system rules have nothing to do with your life once you step away from the keyboard so how could they possibly have anything to do with the "rules of the lifestyle?"

I'm not changing the subject. You're foaming at the mouth about how all these people on a website are telling you you're not part of the "lifestyle," which I have to admit, I haven't seen. The rules on this system and the opinions of the people here evaporate the moment you step away from the keyboard. They have nothing to do with your day to day life or any "lifestyle."

This system is not the "lifestyle," it's just a website. The rules here have NOTHING to do with your life.

That's bullshit. I've been here a while and the people who act that way are a miniscule minority and usually don't last here very long. Regardless, if some complete stranger on a website were to tell you that they thought you were a fake, why would you even care what they think? Ignore them and live your life.

There is no envelope to go outside of. There are so many different non-vanilla flavors out there that no one set of rules could ever possibly cover them all. You've chosen a path that some people might have a hard time understanding, but I have never seen anyone tell you that path was wrong. They might tell you that some of the things you say are wrong, or that some of your conclusions are but that's not remotely the same thing.

What, if anything at all, do these mythical "rules of the lifestyle" have to do with any of that?

i found it a long time ago...
it sets up a standard...so that if ya dont measure up..people know you are playing games.

just like my 1st Ms told me...
1st rule is She is always right
2nd rule is She never makes mistakes,...She is a Pro and has seen it all in 30 yrs...
3rd rule is slaves cannot change #1 and #2
4th rule is dont speak unless spoken to
5th rule is never ever be out of ear-shot...and never ever leave Her sight w/o asking
6th rule is...and this is the same here..at present..never ever leave the property w/o permission...i am not allowed to go anywhere w/o advance notice. and never w/o Her, except in extreme cases when She is not here.

one thing i was told...if any sub/slave cannot be there for hands on 24/7...they are not real d/s people. no one can help a domme online..you have to be there in person to serve...

these are just some of what "I" was taught.
i was broke in..by a Pro...right off the street.
just like...
sex is not allowed at any time.
slaves sleep on the floor...in a separate room.
slaves are not allowed ANY money.
there will be NO romantic notions. She has a hubby...the 1st had Her 1st boy there.

What does one random web site have to do with the "rules" for all of BDSM? How does it make that author an authority? Why should we believe him/her?

What if I go set up a site right now with a list of rules for BDSM relationships. Will those become the new rules and the other site won't matter any more?
