Eh, mine really isn't a charity, but a Doc that lives down the road. He opened up his own practice after working for several years in the ER. Now he has a little office where office visits are 40 bucks, stitches are like 15, injections are hella cheap, and he has good office hours too, opens later in the day so he can stay later. He says it's because more people get dinged up later in the day. I can't tell you how many people I've driven to his place to get stitches, tetnus shots, Xrays... and none of their bills have ever been over a hundred bucks. In fact my ex stepped on a nail recently, and he got all fixed up, tetanus shot and antibiotics included for 55. I'd like to get that guy new equipment, pay for his insurance, stuff like that- because he's made such a huge difference for the people in the area. Other than that, I like the Red Cross, the local one around here needs a new bloodmobile, this time one with the machines needed to do the double bag thing. Toys for Tots is nice, but I think it's seasonal, and I'd prolly up my monthly thing to the SPCA.
