Since I am being asked so many questions about cider in the US and can't find anyone better qualified to offer opinion on cider , I have decided to take on the task of testing as much US cider as can be found. (It's a tough task , but one that HAS to be done [sm=evil.gif])
Having rounded up a copious supply in 12 different types (that's what's known as "dedication to the task" surely?),my typing may be somewhat slower than usual as I persevere with my studies over the course of the day,so a comprehensive report may be postponed in favour of keeping things simple for now.

Good on ya mate.  I'm eagerly looking forward to your impartial results.
It's just a shame this is (ahem) research.  You really should be enjoying yourself![;)]

I look forward to your and your weeuns next visit.  I am quite taken by your collective charm and enjoy your company very much.  I am truly impressed by your motherhood skills as reflected in your kids.  Like their mom, they are intelligent, polite, a lot of fun and welcome back anytime!  I would love to do one of those family fun “One Tank Trips” from that Florida guide book of the same name.  I think it would be a blast for all of us to go on an air boat ride, to the zoo, fishing, a park, the beach etc.

Oh, I didn't know.  I don't usually look at RS's stuff anymore.  He's a little too out there for me.   (but then I'm a guppy after all anyway)... I'm thinking... just a face and bewbiage.... very close up... I'll see if I can set it up.

That's ok sunshine, as I figure I'm a guppy too that's swimming among the sharks anyways! Something about that sense of danger that is sooooooooo tempting and hawt!

Try picturing my two weeuns who ask me, "When are we going back to Mr.Kalon's house, Mommy????" every week.

I am planning on bringing my Um to Tulips for a visit with her and her weeuns. Can ya wait til then?

Greedy something just occured to me.

Your car problems  ignition not work, transmission going........
I think you should name it Sage ROFL

Maybe 2 anti-ds for about a month and it might all go away ROFL

Cuz I know mah brain is not firing right, and I do have a hitch in my giddyup.

SavageFaerie -> RE: February 6th, 2009 (1/31/2009 3:11:20 PM)

Ugh double posted

btw I have heard about English cider and always wanted to try it.

It sounds nummish

FourQ -> RE: February 6th, 2009 (1/31/2009 4:05:01 PM)

Aye, British cider's grand, but you have to try the proper stuff.
The commercialised stuff just tastes like an apple flavoured alcopop compared to the Guinness-made-of-apples variety.  I realise I'd had a few when I tried the traditional English cider, but as I recall it was more of an alcoholic apple broth than anything else.  Not ordered by the pint, as is the tradition, more by the bowl......... or slice!

GreedyTop -> RE: February 6th, 2009 (1/31/2009 4:09:03 PM)

BitchGoddessD -> RE: February 6th, 2009 (1/31/2009 4:09:34 PM)

I'm debating renting a car since cabs are expensive and anyone with a car will probably be full already.  Any comments from Orlando peeps?

I am a very very light weight drinker. a alcopop will most likely give me a buzz.  But the whole cider thing sounds great we just made plain cider here and only available around xmas

CalifChick -> RE: February 6th, 2009 (1/31/2009 4:20:21 PM)

Okay, I'm putting my foot down.  *WHAM*

I'm taking over the name badge chores.  Greedy has enough things to worry about, I refuse to let her try to take care of this too.

Stay tuned for another post about this.

When I was debating that same thing, I went to the United Airlines page, to the frequent flier section (I'm a member of their air miles program), and followed a link to deals on car rentals.  They were offering full size cars from such places as Alama, National, etc., for about $30 a day (total price including taxes).  That was about half the price of anything else I could find.
