in most cases I would say yes give the slave a 2nd chance however if she cheated on me then no way does she get a second chance

I wonder where any of us would be today if we were only given "one chance" at, well, anything. ========== if you walk the straight and narrow and behave like a matured adult vs an adolescent...ya don't have to worry...huh? where i come from, MY elders called it minding your business and keeping your nose to the grindstone.. it's when SOME people were not taught common sense that they get into trouble..like a 6 week old puupy..that doesn't know any better.. i EXPECT everyone on here to be old enough to know better...so there should be NO excuses... know what i mean???? take care, huh?

Personaly i think a slave deserves a second chance as we all will make mistakes...Life is a learning process and you can not be a perfect slave over night.It takes time and a Master must jump at it.If the slave disobeys then punish her.Master has sent me away,spanked me,etc and in time i have grown and understood my mistakes so i can be a better slave.If you do not give the slave a chance to learn and grow all you are wanting is a pittiful doormate who is insecure enough not to do anything but sit at your feet and not serve you...just follow you like a puppy.Master has taught me alot through my punishments but in return he has learned about me as a slave..as a person...a slave is kinda like a nice car...you push it to see what it can do..if it breaks you fix it and keep going until it cant be pushed. bella Proud slave of Master Thomas and sis to Fyreredsub

I would think that a Master would understand the growing process, and therfore allow for certain mistake to be made. He would not ignore them...he would punish as he saw fit...but he would also forgive those made and hope that slave learns from the mistakes made.

I have no idea what you just said, Girl4you2sub? However, if it was referencing giving someone a second chance it was a little bit too philosophical for comprehension. Still, I'm sure you meant, that all do deserve a second chance, but at times, one should walk away, instead of being combative. Sometimes it is easy to forgive, other times it is impossible, is it not? Reference's to New York...and hedging your bet...or a double edged sword, like house wine in an oversized bed and ballerina's in the snow. The point is this....I do give second chances and I do believe in forgivness. What I don't believe in, is talking out of both sides of one's mouth. Here a Dom, there a Dom...every where a Dom, Dom.

Life is about second chances. Everyone messes up every once and awhile. Even in our relationships, we accept our partners ... warts and all. No one is perfect or an ideal. As far as your comment about being in a New York state of mind ... all I can say is what mind? I was born and raised in New York City. In the 20 some odd years I was there, I don't think I ever had the displeasure to running into an individual with as narrow a view as "ol" fastlane is exhibiting. New Yorkers have been called cold and rude and even sometimes unfeeling. However, when the chips are down they are most understanding and the most helpful. I point out 911 as a prime example

Honest mistakes should be forgiven, I think. Infidelity and other forms of dishonesty are another matter. Still, with me, everything is on a case-by-case basis. I try to avoid letting myself be bound up in too many rules and policies. This is not to say I don't have standards and principles. Just that I am not overly rigid. Strength is good but things tend to become brittle when overtempered. Bob

I point out 911 as a prime example i wholeheartedly agree with you on new yorkers. every time i've been to new york city, i've met friendly, caring, and tactful people. i've seen open mindedness and a willingness to see the better side of valor in the residents there. i love nyc and i've never had a negative experience in all of my visits there. as to second chances, sometimes they are appropriate, and sometimes they are not. c'est la guerre. that's life. and we all move on. "let's give peace a chance."
