I have been on this site less than 3 weeks and now have about 20+ pages of messages from men requesting I consider them ... Yet it is obvious they haven't read my profile...at least not all of it. And the reason I know that? I took the advice of another here and at the very bottom of my profile added a phrase that I instruct any writing to me to include in their first contact, otherwise they will be deleted and blocked. Hey, if a man pleading for the chance to show me he would be the best one to serve and obey me is unable to do that much, I am sure likely to believe he can faithfully follow more complex instructions! And I'm not talking just about the one handed typists with their list of what I can do for them, thinly discuised as a plea to serve me! I talking about quality first messages from s-types that have an actual profile and preference list filled out and are polite and interesting. Yet these subs still haven't read the entire profile...or just didnt think my direction to include this code phrase of any import. I just don't get it so I am asking the sub/slaves on this site to help me understand. I want to find a compatable sub or possible slave for a LTR...you want to find a compatable Domme or you wouldn't be writing me. (again leaving out the wankers and time wasters here) So, what the hell does a Domme have to do to get it thru to you to actually read the profile and not just look at the pretty pictures?!? sigh

Welcome to the joys of online. They are skimming until they see the things that they want to see then are contacting you. It still comes down to they can not read so just use it as a weeding factor like you are and place them in the NO pile. That and blocking them so they do not contact you again is all you can do. Really in the end it does cut out a lot of the crap you would have to deal with them on. Mike

sometimes i think there is NO way to have/make people read Your profile... some prefer to contact, as soon as they see Dom/me in the 'status' .. i do think, however, and You'd have to take a poll, that the Domme's get a lot more of 'unsolicited/junk/idiotic' mail than Doms... or maybe that's just my opinion... personally, i prefer to read through a profile before writing to Anyone - just to make sure that Wwe're even on the same page about things... you never know what tidbits of info are written into profiles!! good luck with coming up with an easy solution.. peachie

There's absolutely nothing you can do. Even if you don't post a pic or even have your profile area filled in you'll still get form letters or emails from people saying stupid things like "I loved your profile. I think we may be a match"...even though your profile is blank! All you can do is hit the delete button and move on to the next one.

I was getting bombarded and I put in my first paragraph that if they didn't read my rules of contact and go by them, they would be blocked. I don't know why because it doesn't reason out, but my email was cut by at least half. I still get it and sometimes will ask if they read my profile and of course they always say yes and don't know why they aren't on 'who's viewed' me... they swear they read it. So then they are just disrespecting my request? lol... It just comes with the territory.

[:D] I have had I don't know how many requests to beat some subbie male senseless or some other Domme type thing, so no, the men don't read profiles. Yeah I know guys, some of the girlies don't either. I am willing to be though that the ladies here have more of the unwanted e-mail just because we have bewbies and stuff. [;)]

I read a lot of profiles, especially if it is someone I have been reading a lot of posts from in the forums. I like reading profiles. I guess I am in the minority.

People don't read profiles. They see a picture, and they write. If I like what they say and we seem compatible, I'll answer. Unfortunately, the ones that don't read profiles and just send out messages to everyone with a pretty picture, don't bother with the message boards. At least they make the weeding-out process a lot simpler.
