just seems odd if you ask me. all these stories and statements being retracted. this is why so many question the system.

Not so sure that I want to believe anyone who's sight is calling for the stopping of the ACLU. I have a hard time with some of the fights they pick but, they have a place in a free society. To think that Obama had not met with the Gov. of Illinois at some time in the past is a bit on the "less than informed" side but, people love to look for dirt on those they oppose. Insiders to the politics of Illinois
have stated many times that there is no love lost between Obama and Blago but, who wants to believe them? It is so much easier to believe the worst than the best in people.

In fact, while we can cherry pick and critique the cases they choose to pursue, the ACLU exists to defend our rights under the Constitution. And does.

And adults can fairly chose when they're wasting their time with those repeatedly guilty of the waste.

No sane person expects he or she has any obligation to read every opinionated link someone posts. A handful of posters practically make a career of this. A filter--just as you probably have a junk mail filter--is a reasonable approach in the face of what approaches spam.

If the same posters presented reasoned arguments to work through their positions, I'd have no problem with that whatsoever. In fact, I've frequently had debates with posters I genuinely respect, and I appreciate learning and understanding their views and the reasons for them. All this is fine.

The nonsense is not. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Everyone else is entitled not to care.

Well Tim there last big case was defending illegal aliens right to be in this country, they defended being here illegally so they lost any future funding from me
