I see a lot of votes for Stephanie Plum, I'll be checking her out for sure. I am loving this thread with all the new reading material now

For the OP, the last book that I read that really stuck in my head and kicked around for awhile was "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. Seems to be one of those books people either love or hate though. I think they made a movie but I never saw it. I couldn't put it down from the first page though.

I have read some of Feehan's as well.........and trust me........try the Dark Hunter series......a whole new level of "fun"........grin

Hopefully my Christmas present will get here before the 25th. I was able to find the first 8 Gor books by John Norman. I have been wanting to read them for years and finally got the courage to do so...LOL!

Have you tried ebay or half . com?

There is a lot up now for grabs that ends in less than 11 hours, looks to be for all 9 and is under $30 still.

I went to half. com and typed in the authors name, the link should pop right up for you.

edited: Oh you did get them, well never mind then lol! Sorry, I misread.

I'll leave the info up for anyone else who might be interested though.

I think it is great that people still do read.

Somehow, I am glued to a computer screen.... best I can figure is the bright light keeps me there. Funny, I was reading the newspaper the other day. I glanced down to the right corner... looking to see what time it is.
lol. That is as bad as me wanting to pause the radio, and back it up abit. lol

I get into rare books, I scored some awesome pdfs recently... I have plenty to read if the net goes down. I save the pdfs for such an event. Then I can still do something....
