Almost think the whole reason anyone is interested in bdsm, D/s, M/s is for the sole purpose of physical gratification. There is more to it than that you all.

Status: offline 		Maybe for you, but gratification IS the whole reason I do kinky things.  I don't care about the rules or the protocols some internet stranger dreampt up and thinks we should all follow etc etc. I don't care about  any of it.

I do what I do solely for the gratification.

Status: offline 		It's My personal opinion that a reward should fit similar parameters as a corrective action.  It should fit the situation and it should fit the submissive.  Something like finishing school certainly deserves a considerable reward.  What trips your sub's trigger?  An old favorite perhaps?  Maybe a new form of play to represent this transition to the next stage in life?  You know your sub better than anyone.  You'll know what will be the very best thing.

Umm... I don't hate sex.  I did the hehe thing.  Some people overrate it because they really do suck at it... but it is important to me... very.  BUT, having said that.. so is intelligence, humor and personal honor.  Sex is up there pretty high in my book, but it isn't everything.

Status: offline 		Thanks for the ideas ladies. Actually we are not having sex yet.... So sex would not be an appropriate reward. I am thinking perhaps getting a new toy that he gets to pick would be a good reward for him. And then test it on him. :) How do you ladies motivate your boys?

Status: offline 		Actually, not all D/s dynamics are sexual, so don't let that part flip you out.  If that's the way you have your dynamic set up right now, that's what's working for you.

When clip finished up school here, it was a perfect time for him and I to attend SELF.  At the time, it was our first weekend getaway for just the two of us.  This involved classes, socializing, playing, and everything else we could do while celebrating his finishing school.  It was really great as we got to meet some folks from the site that we hadn't met before, as well as see old friends again.  It turned out to be great for both of us.  If I remember correctly, he was still carrying the marks during his graduation ceremony. 

As for motivating clip in general, he's a very good submissive.  I hope I provide a lot of positive reinforcement, structure, and of course, his favorite, beatings.  LOL.

Status: offline 		Ok I was going to comment on this thread a few days a go but I didn't.

Only a few of the comments said the real thing to give what ever his very good little Heart desires.

Maybe this one gets sex all the time, then it wouldn't be a anything out of the ordinary and thus no big reward.  Some Doms do have quite active sex with their toys.  But maybe they don't and that would be a big reward.

For me sex is very boring since in and out of the Scene I rarely if ever reach climax with a woman.

I am a weird one for reward.  For big things having the money to get Her cat the surgery when it needed it NOW.  That cost Her a trip to Boston with Her showing me around and explaining all the history of Boston to me and learn somethings Even She didn't know on the tour.  Of course I paid for it too. But you see I picked something that would reward me greatly and was also something SHE had wanted to do for a long time but had never done because of expense and lack of the right person to go with and poor time management skills.  She has great time management when it came to Her business but outside of that She needed someone to keep Her on track or She would be late for EVERYTHING.  No disrespect ment but it is true and it was one of the things She thanked me greatly for.

Rewards for smaller things?  Thank you, food, a ruffle of the hair, "that look"  that says you have done good and Coke work best.

So what is reward for one is not even close to a reward for another.

Now if by sex you mean keeping Her lower area prefectly clean without have to have your pants off and getting to hear all the noise She makes because she is a very  happy camper then I am all for that and am very sorry for this post and please forget I said anything here.

Cookies.  Right now, I'm baking Christmas cookies, cakes and banana bread.  It's actually quite amazing what some guys will do to get on my 'goodies' list. 

The others get 'virtual cookies'.  Photos of me that are NOT posted on the web.  That works pretty well also.
