I have noticed that I'm freer online, and flirt much more than in RL. I have flirted with women in RL moniogamous relationships, and flirted with literally a dozen women at the same time. I have also noted a tendency of women to flirt with other women more.. I think that it's cool that there is a medium (the Net) which permits flirting without any seriousness attached to it. Anyone else?

I have to agree that it is and that may be to the fact that you don't really see or feel the repercussions as you do in r/l.

Some need the anonymity of the net to flirt....then there are those of us who just flirt anywhere and everywhere...even unintentionaly...

I probably flirt more online than offline, although I flirt somewhat outrageously in r/l. I am basically a very shy person who decided years ago that there would be no fun to be had if I continued to let the shyness rule me. When I tell people that I'm shy, they don't tend to believe me because I'm quite outgoing most of the time. But inside, I can be having massive anxiety. I am often late to social functions because the anxiety about meeting new people builds up. Flirting seems to ease the anxiety.

I am a huge flirt, online and off. I can't help it. I'm just kinda "out there." I don't pretend to be who I am not, although I understand that there are times and places where I have to keep it in check. DaddyBoo is a flirt, too. I like watching Him flirt when we're out, knowing that I'm the one He's taking home at night. It's when people take it too seriously that problems arise.

My Father was such an incorrigable flirt that he came out of his final coma hours before his death to flirt with 2 women who came to see him. Guess it's genetic.
