Okay, I read through this entire thread. I have to say that the answers you were given about communication are on the head. It is only okay if everyone involved says it's okay. Plain and simple, the word is CONSENT! I would honestly suggest that you find a Mentor, a Dom who can help you learn. The boot camp that cali listed is an awesome way to learn dynamics. Also a local group can help with demos, seminars, and events. The bay area has Southern Cross, SmOdyssey, SOJ, and more. Questions like this show a lack of understanding of simple D/s principles in my opinion.
