I’m curious, califsue, what prompted this question. Are you considering such a relationship or have you friends who have? There an awful lot of reasons why people are involved in LDrs and physical distance is not a criteria as much as the ability for them to overcome the distance separating them be it 5 kms or 10.000 kms if one is bound to a wheel chair it is just as hard. Finances are another issue too.
