Thanks all for the kind words, prayers and thoughts.
I'm back now.
I'm sorry to say that the suggestions that BlackPhoenix gave were not things I had thought of, and did not see before I left.
They are very good ideas though.
I'm not sure a video of our goodbye to Dave would have been good for my dad; he is sensitive, as I am...it may have hurt him more.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a great new year!
While mine wasn't what I would have wanted, I was able to use my strength and my love to help my family, and to help them to celebrate, so...it was good.
