out of an other topic ( physical control ) IronBear ''reminded'' me that breath control is one of my kinks. It really do turn me on. Whenever i have the chance to practice this kink, i just feel great after it and it is a way to put all my trust in the hands of my Dom.

However i don't practice it with the first comer. It has to be safely done and with a well trained person. i have been trained to apply it and receive it, so i know when it is safe or not and when i am about to go to sleep. i am also aware that this can result into some medical issues.

What do you think about Breath control ? Does it turn you on/off ? Did you ever tried it ?

Dom/Domme/Master/submissive/slave , i want to know what it does to you.....

Status: offline 		maybe it is just me but i have to breath oxygen as much as i can and it supports my life

i am on 24/7 liquid oxygen and if i did not have it i freak out and almost black out

but then if those who get off on it then that is totally up to them

i just do not take this one simple thing i have in my life for granted

i guess if one does not have to go through what i am going through on a constant basis they would not have any idea of what i am talking about

also they are wanting to submit me as i have stated in my profile for a double lung transplant and possibly a heart transplant

the heart transplant they will not know till i am opened up

Status: offline 		I do enjoy light breath play. I am a good swimmer and can hold my breath for upto 60 seconds. I do not push it pas that due to the risks. From a medical perspecitive there is no way to be 100% safe with breath play. Jay wiseman wrote a couple articles and has a book that covers breath play. He basically states there is no form of safe breath play. So if you are going to do it just be well aware of the risks, know your partner's limits.

Status: offline 		I too enjoy breath play to some degree. I am well aware of the risks. I do want to say though that there is NO way to engage in this kink that is entirely safe...and the risks are pretty substantial no matter how you go about it.

anything that would involve killing someone (or me) is a little scary. i can see the kick in playing around with that, but for me I'd rather just be boring and get whipped.

Status: offline 		The medical risk of course, is death. I'm not sure how one manages or mitigates that.

With that said, what we've discovered is that it isn't breath control per se that makes me melt so much as it is him holding me by the neck. His hand wrapped lightly around my neck with me knowing he could tighten it if he so chose. His big hand wrapped around the back of my neck, making me feel like a kitten being carried by the scruff. His teeth in my neck. Him coming up behind me, putting a forearm against my throat and pulling me up against him. Neck play in all it's wonderful forms.

Status: offline 		I have been learning breath control from a Dom friend that gives demos for it.  I love the power exchange.

I fully believe that nothing we do in play is without risk.  SSC doesn't work for me.  I use RACK.  even a simple spanking can cause a clot in a person with an unknown problem.  For me knowing the risks and deciding on them is the only way to go.  Sometimes it's the risks that make it so hot!
