I had a wonderful but sad day. Wonderful because we decided to spend it with my family - always good fun. Sad because my brother has since emigrated to Australia and none of us know when we will all be together again. It was hard to see the pain and heartbreak my parents were experiencing. Thats part of life I guess.

Technically, Christmas isn't over until Epiphany on the 6th of January so go for it!  (You know that whole `twelve days of Christmas' thing?  Christmas day is the first one, not the last.)

Thanks LaT.  If you could see how excited I am on this end of the screen, I'd probably drive you nuts.

And beeble, thanks for pointing that out.  I can only hope the effects from the visit will last quite longer than Jan 6!

Since I am using Befana as an excuse for my late gifts (do NOT travel during the holidays, it really messes up the schedule) you can certainly get the most mileage possible out of the holiday!

I had a great Christmas!  I hope all did the same.  I am looking forward to next year even though we as a country seem to have some troubles.
