LOL.  No, my family was always great about getting me gifts for both.  Not always big gifts, but then again, I was always happy with books no matter what the occasion.  Still am.

I'll be happy to share dick...Clark...with you.  Thanks.

It looks like it's shaping up to be a quiet New Year's Eve. No specific plans as of yet. A nice quiet evening spent with My little girl, ringing in the new year with the one I love.
Then off to the beach in the morning. A personal tradition...I go to the beach and watch the first sunrise of the new year. (Lately, I've had company.)
Life is good.

smiles....I am planning to enjoy having the house to myself, I will watch a dvd about pandas at a sanctuary in China, burn candles and incense and reflect on 2008 and the huge changes I made, probably congratulate myself a bit on how far I have come...and then I will start thinking about the person I want to become in 2009 and beyond.....and in amongst all of that I will be offering my special thanks to the many people on here who have touched my life in some way ...and there are many of you.....smiles

I volunteered to work but I found out they seem to be fully staffed so I'll be "on call" at home until 7pm then afterwards NADA!
NY's Eve is overrated, much like the Redskins.

Working both jobs, then partying with family.  The bonus is that we are all within walking distance, so no worries about drunk drivers on the road.
